Anyone interested in an 'inexpensive but great' summer clothes thread?

I'll start
It just caught me today that Matalan/Asda George/Tu have really upped their game for pretty and good quality summer holiday clothes. Not everything - there's still far too much lurid sparky polyester (same everywhere tbf)
I'm closer to 50 than 40 and a 16, M&S just don't do it for me and I outgrew topshop many years ago.
I've bought slim cropped cotton trousers in decent colours from Matalan, a really flattering chambray midi wrap dress and stretchy denim shorts from Asda and a couple of pretty tops in cotton from Tu.
I think a total of a dozen things that I'm really pleased with and spent about £100.
Anyone had a low-end epiphany?

I got a tencel/denim dress in Asda last year. I got loads of wear from it.
Even in the winter, I wore woolly tights and a breton top underneath it.

I've just bought a load of stuff from Asda online in the hope of updating my summer wardrobe including this cute looking top and this summer dress - hoping I can carry off yellow!!
