SoYo definitely started something with her pics of the floral cropped pants!
It's a lovely print - looking forward to mine. I think they will be good for casual but could actually be dressed up for a night out too.
@miffy2 my local Gap is an outlet store which may explain why you can't find the product code online, this dress might be from last summer! It was the only one of its style on the rail.

Whitesea · 25/05/2018 00:03

Laskia I'm going to go against the grain here and say I think the green dress looks quite short on you and I've seen you in nicer. The trousers are very flattering on you and suit your colouring better. x

AFingerofFudge · 25/05/2018 03:30

Wondering if anyone else feels the way I do about Hush footwear? Noticed they have £10 off selected footwear today (am on a break on a nightshift!!) but it barely impacts on the cost. I love the look of some of their stuff but don't even consider it as I can't bring myself to pay well over £100 for most of it???

neveradullmoment99 · 25/05/2018 07:14

Well with most shoes I have ordered I have to say, despite their quality of clothes being pretty poor sometimes, the shoes and especially boots are beautiful quality. I have 2 pairs of boots and they are leather lined. I have a pair of shoes that are equally beautiful and a pair of the leopard trainers that are also leather lined. Although expensive, its hard not to admit the quality is beautiful and probably similar in price with other brands especially if you wait for a discount and most certainly the sale. I agree though, £10 off is a bit crap. I got 10% off the leo trainers which was better value.

whitesea I appreciate your comment .. I do suit brighter colours
I cant do much about the 60 year old knees , but was thinking this would be a good holiday dress not to wear to work . (ill be a fake tan brown for that !)

I know a lot have said they like it , but on me? Honestly am i to ancient for it what about colour/ style on me please?

it is a bit darker than the photo..I have a 10 coming today also which I thought would fit better on the top .. I might not get a chance to post it today as have family descending ..

neveradullmoment99 · 25/05/2018 07:56

Laska, honestly I think it looks fine for holidays especially with a bit of a faketan on the legs. Your legs are fine.

To wear over here if you don't want to show your legs, I also think it would look good with your leggings? I thought the colour suited you!

Thanks Never, ill try and get a better photo later . could get DH to take it .. he will like it I know , but then he is my greatest fan! .

I could have paleScottish colouring you know!.. (probably not ! GDF originally came from Cumbria but he was dark.. its my redhead DGM I get the skin tone from and her family have come from Sussex for many generations!).

My day has not started out well, I have visitors coming for weekend , with 3 kids and I locked the cat in the conservatory last night and he has panic pooed all over my (cream) ikea chairs .. I cant blame him..

Laska5772 · 25/05/2018 08:13

If any one wants Boden they have 25% off jeans shorts , trousers and skirts today code F3A9..
I definitely have enough! Smile

Laska5772 · 25/05/2018 08:31

Laska, I'm still dithering about keeping the butterfly print as well, just wondering if it's overall too young for me. Having said that, both DH and DD say it suits me - and I see it on you at the same age and think it looks good. As you saw, the 10 was def too short on me, but the skirt itself wasn't significantly shorter. What was happening for me was that my norkage in the smaller size meant there wasn't lee way in the top to allow me to set the waist a little lower. The 12 can be pulled a bit lower while still leaving the top fairly floaty. Colourwise, On the hanger, the green won hands down for me, I just loved it, but they only had it left in 8 and 16. I tried the 16 to assess colour and once they were on, the darker and brighter colours of the butterfly definitely suited me better. I think perhaps ditsy, washed out prints don't always flatter an older face. I would like to see the butterfly on you for comparison.

ilovecherries · 25/05/2018 09:03

Although I might still choose the green! It's just the difference on me between the two was huge.

neveradullmoment99 · 25/05/2018 09:24

...and I am debating over the shorts. The black ones fit perfectly in a 12. The denim blue ones with the stripe are really nice but the 12's are slightly too neat around my waist [ there is one reviewer that says to size up] so I ordered the 14 at the time as well just in case but when i tried them on they seem a bit too loose especially in the crotch area but I probably prefer them with a kind of boyfriend look as I am not 16 years old and don't want shorts that are tight and short iykwim. So going to try them on again today. Plus I want to lose a little weight on my stomach esp. so worry about having them bigger and then they look rubbish as they are not cheap. Or I may return them both! Oh bloody hell!!!

OP posts:
Ellapaella · 25/05/2018 09:36

Never if you are undecided over shorts I can recommend the Boden chino ones - they really are great quality and a nice flattering fit and 25% off today - worth a try?
Laska thankyou, I have ordered a Marissa dress, hoping it's not a faulty return though!
Can I say cherries and Laska that I thought the Marissa dress was a really flattering dress, I don't think it's too young by any means. My only concern over it personally is that it looks like it might be a bit thin for British summer in which case I won't be keeping as it won't get enough wear for £80. I'll see when it arrives.

Laska5772 · 25/05/2018 09:51

Cherries I love the butterfly print on you!. Ireally suits you and its definitely not too young for you.

However when i saw it in JL I wasnt sure whether i really liked the butterfly print for me though I loved the green print on the Marissa blouse they had in).

.Am not likely to get to JL anytime soon.. I suppose I could order from Hush., (but they do have quite a lot of my money at the moment!) and then what If I liked both?

I think at the mo I will wait and see what the smaller one is like on me

Laska5772 · 25/05/2018 10:06

.. oh sod it ! Ive just seen that I have had a big Quidco cashback payout from my house insurance purchase .. I've ordered the butterfly one ( but in the 12)

Ellapaella · 25/05/2018 10:17

What is quidco?

Ellapaella · 25/05/2018 10:18

Sounds like something I need if it means more Hush stuff!Grin

neveradullmoment99 · 25/05/2018 10:27

Can you use my referral link Ella? I have earned around £65 and it would be more had I remembered to use it!

Its a cash back site Ella Topcashback is another) . its definitely worth signing up.
You click on them first and then they put you through to the site you want and this earns you give you cashback on your purchases. Not all companies are on it but you can get big discounts on insurances , banks accounts, travel and mobile contracts, (I've just had £60 back from my house insurance purchase and always book holiday car hire through them , that usually gives me about £80 ) .

Other online shops (like clothes) are usually much less and the rates go up and down ( at the mo Hush is only giving back 2%) Its often just a couple of quid or less. But it all adds up! Ive been a member for about 8years and I've had about £1200 paid back so far and this is for stuff I would have bought anyway Grin. I never buy anything without checking Quidco first!

just google 'Quidco'. I cant give you a link because its set to my account.

Laska5772 · 25/05/2018 10:33

Poo!! never i didn't know about that ! (missed a trick there )

Ive just set up a referral link if anyone else wants it

www.quidco.com/user/640182/2779400/

Use mine ! not hers!! Grin

Ellapaella · 25/05/2018 10:41

Ha ha thanks both - I'll sign up using never's link as she posted it first but I'm sure someone else will come along and use yours Laska!

ilovecherries · 25/05/2018 11:03

What length of Boden shorts would you recommend, Ella. I'm a short wearing virgin but they would be handy for uk campsites. I don't obviously want my bum hanging out (or thigh rub), but nor do I want to look like a lady explorer. So I'm thinking not the longest or shortest length. But 4 or 6?

Ellapaella · 25/05/2018 11:16

These are mine and they are the shortest length. I’m not a fan of showing off my legs but I don’t feel over exposed in these and they don’t disappear up my backside when I bend over (my biggest fear!) Grin. Maybe the 4 would be ideal for you if you prefer not too short?
