I was going to wear them with a fairly simple yet structured white dress, which is very fitted and has a really faint and narrow grey stripe pattern.

Shiny silver heels always remind me of grad ball shoes, but those aren't bad. Your whole outfit together sounds lovely though Smile

I think they are a bit frumpy. The block heel is not working with that style of shoe.

Yeah agree with halfwitpicker. Don't like the heel - but "the block"are all over the place this this season so they must be back (just remind's me of the late '90's)😖

Its for a communion but in a country where people go into "cocktail party" mode for their church occasions (compared to uk where we do hats and cheerful colours etc). So there will probably be quite a few people there in black dresses and strappy kitten heels

The block heel is back! I really want to like them, I like the style and love the sparkle but there’s something about them that makes them look quite cheap. I can’t put my finger on what it is... If your dress looks expensive I reckon it will balance ok though.

The reason im a fan of block heels is because theyre so much easier to walk in compared to skinny ones!

I LOATHE block heels - but they are actually very nice! Not at all trashy. I think your outfit sounds lovely.

I love them...had something similar many years ago,when I still had the energy (and the legs!) to wear heels, so maybe I'm just being nostalgic, but I really do love them 💕💕💕
