Yes, yes they are.

triangulum · 10/05/2018 21:11

Yes, sorry.

Jungfraujoch · 10/05/2018 21:11

Fair enough 😁

Yes. Look on Geox’s own site as they have some more modern designs that should also be comfortable.

Justmuddlingalong · 10/05/2018 21:13

Yes in the dictionary under 'old lady sandals', there's a picture of those very ones. Grin

HoardingQueen · 10/05/2018 21:13

Definitely, I can imagine my mother wearing them to 'be comfortable and not have her bunions rubbed', don't do it... not the cheapest either?

Jungfraujoch · 10/05/2018 21:14

I have wide feet and a small bunion and really struggle to find comfortable sandals! I also like the idea of a thicker sole for comfort - anyone point me in the right direction please?

Fit flops are your friend, op! I also have wide feet and bunions and find them great. And the soles are quite thick.

TheDishRanAwayWithTheSpoon · 10/05/2018 21:16

I reckon it's possible to pull them off with the right outfit, but they are quite old ladyish sorry.

ShatnersBassoon · 10/05/2018 21:17

Definitely Golden Girls territory, but if it's any consolation they're more Dorothy than Sophia Grin

DartfordBridge · 10/05/2018 21:17

Birkenstock?

halcyondays · 10/05/2018 21:18

Potentially, yes. £90 for sandals?

AnotherRoadsideAttraction · 10/05/2018 21:20

Yes. Unless you're 17. Then they would be cool with a pair of wide-leg trousers or jeans!

GreenTulips · 10/05/2018 21:20

Love Fitflops - expensive but last years

Also try rocketdog

halfwitpicker · 10/05/2018 21:21

That bad? Really?

Jungfraujoch · 10/05/2018 21:21

Birkenstocks uncomfortable, not overly keen on Fitflops either!

These ones are the same sandal but I think a much nicer style,
I really don't like fit flops, birkinstocks are nice but I don't actually think they are that comfy.

MsHomeSlice · 10/05/2018 21:23

dearie me they are having a laugh are they no? £90 for those?

Don't do it OP, they are really horrid.

Jungfraujoch · 10/05/2018 21:24

Thanks Dish but I find those bands across my feet uncomfortable! I said it was difficult!

OP posts:
Jungfraujoch · 10/05/2018 21:25

Either cross cross or toe thong best.

userxx · 10/05/2018 21:26

They must have been bad, the link is giving me a 404

bigchris · 10/05/2018 21:27

Fitflop
expensive but so worth it. Super light, very comfortable, nice sandals and shoes. And boots. I could buy the entire collection.
