Was very lucky & got a Tiffany bracelet for my birthday Just 2 days ago. I wore it on a night out last night & ive scuffed it & worm down the T already 🙈 does anyone know if they re engrave/print these if they wear out? Btw it's 100% real incase anyone was going to question it for wearing away so quickly lol

Why are you so sure it is real? Doesn't sound likely to me.

FlibbertyGiblets · 21/04/2018 12:32

Take it back.

TantricTwist · 21/04/2018 12:34

How can it wear away, is it silver, gold ??? What were you doing Grin?

PinkHeart5914 · 21/04/2018 12:36

Doesn’t sound like it’s real tbh!

I’ve got Tiffany necklace and bracelet I wear daily and I’ve worn for years and still in perfect condition. What on earth did you do to it?

viques · 21/04/2018 12:38

My Tiffany bracelet is over eight years old, I wear it once or twice a week and it has only recently started to look a bit worn. I think after one wear you are either looking at a manufacturing fault or a fake. The Tiffany shops are very helpful, I would be taking it back.

RLOU88 · 21/04/2018 12:39

How bad is it can we see ? What on earth did you do to it Shock

JonSnowsWhore · 21/04/2018 13:03

This is why I said in my post it's real, & yet people are still questioning it. I don't think the Tiffany shop sell fakes.
For once in my life I behaved myself & didn't do any drunk acrobatics so god knows what I've scraped it on 😬

Take it back to the Tiffany shop, they are very good at resolving problems.

Chanelprincess · 21/04/2018 13:15

You don't say what metal it is but Tiffany silver is easily scratched. I would take it to a Tiffany store and let them inspect it. They will let you know the options - they don't usually charge for repairs or for polishing. If it makes you feel any better, I scratched my Cartier diamond Love bracelet less than a week after receiving it. Luckily, it could be polished out and many years later, I haven't done any further damage. It's just one of those things.

RiskIt4Biscuit · 21/04/2018 13:26

Gold and silver are soft metals and scratch easily.
Enamel is also easily damaged.

I don't know which Tiffany bracelet you have, but there are some designs you'll notice scuffs and scratches on more than other designs.

I dented a large Georg Jensen cuff the day I got it, just on the edge - I notice it, but I doubt most people see it when I'm wearing it.

You can always take it back to store - maybe they'll be able to help you.

A picture of the damage would help :)

JonSnowsWhore · 21/04/2018 14:16

Sorry it's silver, just one of the return to Tiffany tag ones so easily scratched where it dangles, Just the T wearing away is bothering me

I've won my tiffany bracelet everyday for at least 5 years - no way the t would get scraped off, take it back!

WipsGlitter · 21/04/2018 14:25

It should it have worn away that much that fast unless you're a rock climber or something!

butteryfluttery · 21/04/2018 14:25

And did you personally go into the shop and hand over the money to the sales assistant? Wasn't a gift which was "bought from tiffany" ??

JonSnowsWhore · 21/04/2018 19:16

My god please stop asking about it being real it's definitely real. I said it in my first post.
Anyway so if anyone knows if they can sort it, do let me know :)

If it's real the do as pps have said - take it back. The engraving shouldn't be damaged like that. Photo would help.

peachypetite · 21/04/2018 19:23

Take it back.

smashyourglasses · 21/04/2018 19:23

Very much doubt it's real.

Ginmakesitallok · 21/04/2018 19:23

Sorry - hadn't seen the photo

RLOU88 · 21/04/2018 19:28

In my opinion it just wouldn’t fade like that at all. The lettering literary doesn’t look right to me. If it is real why can’t you take it back to them ?

KanielOutis · 21/04/2018 19:28

Sorry but another one who questions it is real. I've had a Tiffany bracelet on my wrist for two years now and haven't taken it off even to sleep. The lettering and silver are all still perfect. I have to say they are good at repairs and amendments though. The clasp annoyed me so they changed the clasp design no worries. It's worth taking it back.

JonSnowsWhore · 21/04/2018 20:00

I can take it back to them, I didn't say I wouldn't! I was just asking if it's something they do. Bloody hell like I said unless the actual Tiffany shop are selling knock offs from China to customers that walk into their shop then it's real

OP posts:
Chanelprincess · 21/04/2018 20:03

We have let you know...take it to a Tiffany store! It needs a professional to take a look at the damage. They can probably replace the tag. They won't touch anything that's not authentic though.

peachypetite · 21/04/2018 20:10

Of course it's something they do, it's a high end brand.

DillyDillyDally · 21/04/2018 20:18

I have a similar Tiffany bracelet that is over 10 years old and it is not worn like that. A few scratches yes. How could that even happen? The letters are engraved so it would take a lot to wear it away
