Can you reccomend a good bag for the plane?

Thinking of a soft tote bag with a zip but not a huge one. Luggage will be in the hold. I'll have travel documents, book, glasses, make up bag and purse.

I used a Mia tui rucksack which was ideal. Otherwise I've used a large Tripp hold-all.

Kipling or Longchamp for me. I've got the Kipling Art M tote for my upcoming trip to Mallorca as I'm travelling with hand luggage only. However, I see that they do an Art S tote which is smaller and would fit your requirements.

When I go to Greece later this year luggage will be going in the hold so I'm taking my Longchamp travel bag which has got an additional stap so that I can wear it cross body which I always find useful.

Longchamp. I fly several times every month and the La Pliage is just great; lightweight, roomy, hardwearing and cheap enough that I'm not bothered about shoving it under seats.

Longchamp. It also doubles as your spa bag,pool bag and sightseeing bag. I also bought the matching make up bag and purse. I actually look like the organised traveller I've always wanted to be.

Cath Kidston have some lovely travel size bags, I would love to get one but due to, ahem, budget, I had to get my travel bag in.... Primark!

My Primark bag is ideal considering I rarely fly it was only £14 & soft grey, nice material, the right size with handles & a long strap.

Longchamp Le Pliage all the way! I never really got the hype until I bought one, but they hold loads, are super lightweight and can be wiped clean or flung in the washing machine, so great if you have kids.

Longchamp Le Pliage . Lightweight , long handles , top zip , lots of colours , squashy to put under seat or overhead , washable .... I love them for travelling

HRT this thread suggest La Pliage is like the Mumsnet scarf. At Gatwick this year I will mutter “am I being unreasonable” and see if I get a sage look from another carrier Grin

Does anyone have the Pliage Neo in silver please? I am trying to gauge whether the finish, in silver, will look tacky or classy.

WellTidy I had the silver neo but returned it, it's really light in colour almost white really.
