Try the Clarins one in a white tube. Use it on dry skin before you shower and then wash off. Instant smooth skin.

Fullfatlatte · 15/04/2018 11:17

Highly recommend Flakeaway from Soap & Glory (& the Righteous butter). I’ve also tried Superdrug’s own Vitamin E body scrub in the past but always use S&G. Love it 😀

TheQueenOfWands · 15/04/2018 11:22

I like the treaclemoon coconut one.

They sell it in Tesco.

HildaZelda · 15/04/2018 11:36

I agree with @Fullfatlatte on Flakeaway. Sugar Crush (also by Soap & Glory) is excellent too.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 15/04/2018 12:38

Some of the oilier ones leaves my skin feeling 'coated' which I don't like.
I was adviced to try BodyShop Pink Grapefruit Scrub ( apparently a choice of professional waxers , wether that is true I dont know) but I LOVE it ,
BS PG isn't gritty or harsh, some of the grainy ones can scratch.

Youradviceneeded · 15/04/2018 12:44

Soap and glory the scrub of your life is fab. I have been meaning to check whether it contains those plastics that are going to be banned. If it does, any of the scrubs from Rituals that aren't sugar or salt based are heaven.

lovemylover · 15/04/2018 13:46

Thanks everyone i will have a look at all these

I like Lush Rub rub rub. It’s quite fierce and smells lovely.

citychick · 15/04/2018 13:58

I bought the exfoliating gloves from Boots and have a good old rub down with my body wash of choice ~ currently waitrose essentials pink grapefruit. or the shampoo if there's nothing else at arms reach

Skin is lovely and soft.

WyrdSisterWeatherwax · 15/04/2018 14:00

Xen-tan exfoliator is really good before fake tan

ginghamstarfish · 15/04/2018 14:04

I second those scrubby gloves, cheap and effective with a lovely soap.

Jaimx86 · 15/04/2018 14:22

Decleor 1000 grain body exfoliator. It smells amazing!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 15/04/2018 15:12

Scrubby mitts and cloths make my skin feel itchy for a few hours after.
They are more cost effective, no gritty bits to deal with and no plastic beads.
Plus much cleaner , the oil in scrubs emulsifies and leaves the bath slippery .

There was a thread a while back about some Korean or Italian towels ...I need to search for it. Apparently they scour the skin off gently and thoroughly , leave you feeling pleasantly sandblasted ....Grin

Gah81 · 15/04/2018 16:26

Sanctuary salt scrub here. Smells divine, you don't need to moisturise afterwards and leaves skin feeling amazingly soft. I use it once a week and have done for years and years.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 15/04/2018 22:26

I bumped the Korean Italian towel thread

Ollivander84 · 17/04/2018 00:31

Grounded coffee body scrub. Or just search eBay for coffee body scrub and look for the ones in a packet, they're about a fiver and much the same

Ollivander84 · 17/04/2018 00:33

This is an eBay one I've used before

I love the Korean towels. The skin just rolls off in gross yet gorgeous little clumps. And my skin has never been smoother.

livvylou1 · 17/04/2018 15:29

you need the bronzie back and body exfoliation mitt in your life - I got one last week and it lets you do your WHOLE body yourself and is infused with charcoal x

bloomsburyer · 17/04/2018 15:37

Korean Italy towels are way more effective than the Soap and Glory scrubs for me. But I still use them as well just because I like the smell. Smile

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 22/04/2018 18:56

I've ordered some Korean towels, once I've used them I'll let y'all know how they do Wink

lovemylover · 22/04/2018 19:47

I got some of those, the green ones? they didnt do much for me i must say
Think i still have one left somewhere

Just seen a pic of a 61 year old model with beautiful skin, she says she uses olive oil with fine sugar scrub once a week, might try this, Grin

FatBallsAndSunflowerSeeds · 24/04/2018 10:54

Do the towels only work if you soak your skin in the bath first? I've only got a shower.

newdocket · 24/04/2018 11:08

I've been making my own recently to save ££s. Olive oil or coconut oil with mixture of salt and sugar. It seems to work really well / better than expensive ones from the shop!
