Who dresses the Trivago lady?

Am I the only one watching too much daytime television who takes an inordinate interest in what the Trivago lady is wearing in her latest advert, when a new one starts doing the rounds?

It's not that I particularly like or dislike any of her outfits, they always just seem a bit odd to me (?) They are almost too idiosyncratic to be styled for an advert, which makes me wonder if she chooses them?

Or maybe a genius stylist who knows how to dress her like a 'normal' person?

Or all part of the magical brew of so-wrong-it's-right that is the Trivago advert!

Someone please say I'm not the only one!

She’s dressed to hide all the toiletries she swipes from the hotel rooms.

Belindabauer · 02/04/2018 11:09

Couldn't tell you one thing she is wearing, the advert is rubbish.
Never ever found a good deal on trivago.

rightknockered · 02/04/2018 14:31

I find it fascinating because she wears a different outfit with each new advert. (Thought I was the only one) Never use Trivago though

PattiStanger · 02/04/2018 14:37

I've litereally just seen an advert and wondered the same thing, she was wearing a red boxy sort of dress

notthatonethanks · 02/04/2018 14:40

Weirdly I always wonder the same thing when I see those adverts! I thought I was the only one. It's like the outfits are really ordinary and yet they stand out to me, I can't explain it.

TheNoseyProject · 02/04/2018 14:48

Its weird isn’t it, that red dress is terrible but by and large she loooks really-almost-great. But it’s always slightly off. Never just great.

PuppyMonkey · 02/04/2018 14:50

I can never work out if that’s her real voice or if she’s dubbed.

ConsistentInsomniac · 02/04/2018 18:08

I always pay more attention to what she's wearing than what she's saying.

Caroline680 · 02/04/2018 18:17

i am so pleased to read this. MY GOD she is frumpy. Or religious or BOTH

Duckies · 02/04/2018 20:10

Thank goodness I'm not the only one!

* she loooks really-almost-great*
This exactly!

@PuppyMonkey I know what you mean and I think that adds to the hypnotic quality the adverts. Although as someone with a similarly confused accent I identify.

Today I saw her in a bright orange blouse and high waist stone wash denim skirt...

I always notice her outfits too, as does my mum Grin

AsAProfessionalFekko · 02/04/2018 20:18

I assumed she is Spanish and she is dressed by someone there. Very definite 'foreign fashion' style that does look Spanish to me. She's probably from Wales...

Assuming people have read this where viewers have told her she stops their toddler crying Flowers

@AsAProfessionalFekko She lives in Berlin, could be German fashion?

This thread has made me laugh so much. I genuinely thought I was the only one who had this weird fixation with the Trivago lady! Every single outfit she wears is slightly off and confuses me. She is clearly a very attractive woman, which I why I can't figure out why she always looks slightly odd!

AsAProfessionalFekko · 02/04/2018 20:23

Australian 🤦‍♀️

AccidentallyRunToWindsor · 02/04/2018 20:38

I tried to wear a striped top, large belt, black skirt, boots and chunky cardi combo she was sporting one time- I had aversion of all the items in the outfit.

I looked like a dick.

Duckies · 02/04/2018 20:53

@AccidentallyRunToWindsor that is hilarious, I love that you tried to 'steal her style'! I am weirdly obsessed with her 'evening out' look with the little handbag.

I can only imagine they are trying to make her less attractive?

AccidentallyRunToWindsor · 02/04/2018 21:10

I thought she looked quite nice at the time! I wore it to work as well....

Madonnasmum · 02/04/2018 21:35

I always wondered why she looked so bad. I thought it was me either being a cow or missing some fashion look!

Featherstep · 02/04/2018 23:14

I cannot believe there are other people out there wondering idly about the Trivago woman's 'style'!
I've always thought the ads slightly odd. Somehow the casual, wholesome button-up shirt look, which isn't bad but not quite right, has caught my subconscious attention. I suppose it's because most women in ads dress far more sexily these days? Funny how ads work on us! What is this, conquer with ordinary-ness??

rightknockered · 02/04/2018 23:37

Her hair isn't ever quite right either, and terrible footwear.

starsandstuff · 02/04/2018 23:48

Ha! I thought it was just me and OH!! I remember saying ages ago to him wtf is she wearing? Does the ad stylist hate her? And now we like a new Trivago ad to see what they've put her in.

no we have no life why do you ask

puppower · 03/04/2018 02:12

ha ha I’m not the only one who questioned this. I thought her outfits have got better as in the budget had increased. The first advert seemed to have her in a blue shirt & trousers which were disgusting but she’s got a bit funky & graduated to breton tops & ankle boots.
