How long does yours last, does it require any care and is it worth it? Thanks Smile

I find it looks good for a week or so and then they go back to normal. Not worth it. However the lash tint they do during treatment is really good, better than the dyes for just normal tinting.

glenthebattleostrich · 30/03/2018 19:05

Mine usually lasts about 6 weeks. I do like them but have quite thick long lashes, not sure if that makes a difference.

glenthebattleostrich · 30/03/2018 19:05

Actually, I'm booked for one tomorrow so will try to remember before and after pics.

oldfatandtired1 · 30/03/2018 19:10

I had one and it was a waste of time and money Sad. I have pretty sparse (menopausal!) lashes and it made no difference whatsoever. Younger friends with longer, thicker lashes think it makes a difference though.

PugwallsSummer · 30/03/2018 19:35

I've never heard of this. I have long black eyelashes but they are dead straight so I look like I have eyeliner on, if you see what I mean.

Will have to look this up...

Alienspaceship · 30/03/2018 19:48

Thanks all. I’m going for it...

I have LVL lash treatment every 6-8 weeks. In my opinion it is DEFINITELY worth it - I have longish straight lashes and was previously wedded to my eyelash curlers

BrazzleDazzleDay · 30/03/2018 20:20

I last got mine done new years eve, they were a bit curlier than normal so tickled my lids for a couple of weeks. The tint is still on them, so definitely worth it.

I don't wear make up often(maybe a couple times a year) so for me, the difference they make is really amazing.

The only thing I don't like about it is trying to behave and lie still for 45 mins Grin

Chicinwellies · 30/03/2018 20:22

Totally brilliant! Has made a real difference. I had yumi lash, much better than lvl which I had previously tried .

GoodMorningSunshine · 30/03/2018 20:23

I had this treatment once (LVL) and loved it. Had it again and my eyes were quite stingy, lashes curled so far up for a week it looked abnormal and then they started to frazzle? So by the end I needed to buy a serum and wait for the new lashes to grow through, they looked horrendous-what went wrong?

Cantchoosenickname · 30/03/2018 21:44

I’m also booked in for this tomorrow. Never had it done before, should I have had a patch test of some kind?

Soconfusedtoday · 30/03/2018 21:48

It doesn’t thin eyelashes though, does it? I’m a bit wore as I’m having my third next week.

Soconfusedtoday · 30/03/2018 21:48

A bit worried.

SheStoodInTheStorm · 30/03/2018 21:59

I had to have a patch test before mine. I don't think it's something you should do without a patch test!

I'm a few weeks in and undecided. One of my eyes lifted much more than the other which looks a bit odd. The tint is good.

epiphanytime · 30/03/2018 22:12

Ive had LVL lashes done twice now and it is definitely worth it!! Made a big difference to my eyes and face...go for it!!

itsbetterthanabox · 30/03/2018 22:16

I love it on my blonde, dead straight lashes.
It doesn't thin lashes make sure to have it no more than every 6-8 weeks and it's fine. Only if it's over processed and causes breakage will it damage them.
Always good to use a lash serum daily when you've got it to keep them conditioned.

BrazzleDazzleDay · 30/03/2018 23:07

Do not use oil products on them if you can too. I don't wash my face unless in shower/bath, with just a rinsed out face cloth.

Ive not long deleted all pics off my phone, dh will still have them. Will see what I can find

Lifeaback · 30/03/2018 23:51

Without wanting to sound dramatic, discovering lash lifts has changed my life. Ive been cursed with very thin, downward facing lashes with no curl- even when I use curlers they do nothing. I used to spend a fortune getting extensions every month or so, and this damaged my lashes so that they got even thinner. I was convinced lash lift wouldn't work for me but thought at £30 instead of the £60 I spend on extensions it was worth a shot.

I got them done 3 and a half weeks ago, and they still look incredible- the curl has held so well. I followed all the aftercare advice (not getting them wet for 48 hours, using downward strokes to remove mascara rather than upwards) so not sure if this is why they've held so long. Ive had so many compliments on them, they look completely natural but have given me so much more confidence. Its not for everyone but I would say it's definitely worth a try, it's much less damaging and costly than extensions are

Totally worth it, made my crap straight lashes beautiful! I’m toying with getting it done again now...

nordicflamingo · 30/03/2018 23:56

I didn’t see an difference with the tint by the way, just put on mascara as usual and skipped the tint the second time

TittyGolightly · 30/03/2018 23:59

Me too. I have the straightest most stubborn lashes in the world.

I have mine every 4 weeks and use black castor oil on my lashes every other night. Saves me about 10 mins every morning. Quick run over with some decent mascara and my eyes are sorted all day.
