What's your 'everyday' lipstick shade?

I've just watched a YouTube video where the person who made it was scathing about bright pink lipstick, and said no one wears it. But I do! Bright blue based pink is my go to lipstick, it works so well with my colouring (dark brown hair, pale skin, hazel eyes) and brightens everything up. When a new range of lipsticks appears I make a beeline for the bright pink one, and it normally ends up coming home with me obsessed. So now I'm wondering what everyone else wears?

No7 Cameo. Cool pink. I think it brightens my often jaded face. I’m watching “Keeping Faith” on bbc at the moment. I’m up to episode 7 and have loved Faith’s lippie, all the way through bur no idea what it is.

In the winter months I wear Charlotte tilbury pillow talk or a Lancôme liner (rose something).

In the summer months I’m all about a orangey corals. Love love love them

I have pink skin, white hair, husky blue eyes...not sure what suits!

Stila Carina which is a neon orangey coral - I am a blue-eyed pale blonde. I love it! I also wear bright red lipstick on a daily basis or I love Maybelline Matte Ink in Lover which is a more muted purpley-pink. I love bright lipstick though, it looks miles better on me than nude shades. I never used to wear lipstick at all but now I do, it’s bold and bright all the way every day!

But I do wear a cool pink very frequently it is I Love You So Much by Rosie at Autograph but it has been discontinued and they haven't replaced it with a decent pink, obviously not on trend enough. When it gets to the end I am going to traipse around a department store to get a similar one. Open to suggestions.

Like Esme, red or red. I very occasionally dabble in a hot pink - Nars Yu or Luxembourg. I have about 50 red lipsticks. I tend not to wear eye makeup other than mascara though.

Always nudes, sometimes a sort of darker reddish brown but still skin like. I look like a clown in bright lipstick. I'm also very pale skinned, brown eyes, brown hair.

I suspect part of it is what you're used to seeing on yourself.

Wow, so many replies! I don't really do nude/pale pink lippie, my lips just end up disappearing. When I do wear muted shades I like greyish toned pinks and lavenders (I do also wear grey, but I don't think that counts as muted!) Or 'bright' mauves. I don't really know how to describe that any better, but this one I really liked. Avon matte mauve.

Lucked That looks similar to Revlon Cherries In The Snow, could be worth a look?

It's been so interesting hearing what everyone else wears. I'm glad I'm not alone in wearing loud colours regularly!

Bright pink, no nudes or browny pinks for me.

I’m a “jewel winter” and bright fushia is one of my colour.

I wear a pinky mauve mostly. Kat Von D lovecraft is my everyday. I'm very pale skinned with blue eyes and (dyed) red hair.

Burt's Bees - Fig and I have a Burt's Bees lip gloss in a similar shade, but can't remember the name - bought that one from Poundland!

I use MAC Mehr or Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk. I have quite big lips and don't really like to stand out. I think they enhance my lips rather than make them stand out, if that makes sense.

I love Mac lady danger but I kind of smear it on over lip balm so it's watered down and not bright red. Great shade.

For about the past 20 years I've worn Clinique's pink chocolate. They discontinued it at one point and brought it back so I bought about 6 to stockpile. It's a dark orangey brown.

I had my colours done about three years ago as I thought I needed a change and to my surprise I was autumn and my House of Colour lady concluded it suited me -but not before she sold me some less flattering lipsticks My colouring is relatively pale skin and dark brown hair.

I think I might google some of these colours / brands as I definitely need a change.

Nars Dolce Vita, but only in Velvet Matte lip pencil form. It’s sheer enough that it’s quite subtle and hard to apply badly. It’s quite a similar tone to my natural lip colour, only a couple of shades darker.

Proper lipstick doesn’t ever seem to look or feel right on me, unfortunately.
