Max cleavage?

LoniceraJaponica · 27/03/2018 22:22

Debenhams is your friend

Ploppymoodypants · 27/03/2018 22:22

This is me ! And not only have a completely flat boobs I am not even thin!

Anyway I find a moulded triangle is best. With a halter top.

BringBiscuits · 27/03/2018 22:33

See I don’t think triangle works for me. I’ve nothing to go in them!!

BringBiscuits · 27/03/2018 22:34

I do like halter neck styles though and I think a pattern detracts from flat chest.
Will try Debenhams

Triangle is awful on flat chests

Bandeaus look great (big boobs can’t get away with them)

Anything with thin straps, decoration, patterns

Celebrate the ballerina tits! You couldn’t pay me to have big boobs

Starryskiesinthesky · 27/03/2018 22:43

Have to say, as someone who spent their young life wishing they had boobs, now that I have them I wish I didn't! Would much prefer to be flat chested!

Ofthread · 28/03/2018 03:44

I ordered this one from Zara in medium and it was gorgeous but tiny. I’m a 32dd, not massive at all but I was spilling out all over the shop. Straps were not adjustable and too long but that could be easily resolved I guess. m.zara.com/uk/en/floral-print-bikini-top-p00594001.html?v1=5477519&v2=816026

treaclesoda · 28/03/2018 03:56

I would give anything to be flat chested.

I think all bikinis look fantastic on flat chested figures, the bikinis I see in the shops are all made with flat chested women in mind. Eg this looks really lovely on the model

LoniceraJaponica · 28/03/2018 07:50

Be careful of what you wish for treaclesoda

You have no idea how it feels to be so lacking in that department. Sadly DD has inherited my lack of curves, and she feels unattractive and so self conscious that she won't go swimming with her friends. One of them has a nice figure and goes on and on about how boys prefer girls with big boobs.

I don't agree about that bikini. I think it is deeply unflattering.

treaclesoda · 28/03/2018 08:49

I think having come of age in the 90s when flat chested was the only acceptable body shape (waifs, androgyny, Kate Moss) I am conditioned into thinking that it's the 'right' shape for a female. I think that model looks amazing, and the bikini looks fantastic on her.

treaclesoda · 28/03/2018 08:52

And if it's any help to your DD I never ever found that men were attracted to big boobs. Not once. They made me a laughing stock. As a teenager I was constantly sneered at for having big boobs. Including on a couple of occasions being punched in the chest 'for the laugh' and 'to see if you can feel it' and even on one occasion I had someone try to stub a cigarette out on my chest 'because your boobs are disgusting'.

LoniceraJaponica · 28/03/2018 22:37

Oh, that's horrible. I bet they were just jealous.

Somersetter · 28/03/2018 22:40

I think that bikini looks amazing - I'm genuinely surprised anyone could think it's unflattering!

LoniceraJaponica · 28/03/2018 23:05

I only think it is unflattering because as an underendowed person myself I think it emphasises the model's lack of curves.

I find bikinis like this one far more flattering on me. It creates extra curves where there aren't any.

Believe me teenage boys are vicious about flat chested girls. One boy really upset 16 year old DD when he said he though she would look like a 12 year old boy with no clothes on Sad

Doobigetta · 28/03/2018 23:22

Agree with the moulded triangle suggestion. This kind of thing- m.johnlewis.com/fat-face-sea-star-moulded-bikini-top-phantom/p3411059
It sounds wrong, but you don't want huge amounts of upholstery that will end up sitting away from you and leaving a gap. Having said that, there are moulded cups and moulded cups- you want ones with a little bit of padding.
Anything with frills over it would also be good as the frills add volume.

LoniceraJaponica · 28/03/2018 23:33

That's a nice one Doobigetta

FusRoDah · 28/03/2018 23:35

Definitely get halter neck. I was a bit cup pre pregnancy, my last bikini was a halter bandeau in this sort of shape:

...with a bit of moulding/padding

FusRoDah · 28/03/2018 23:35
  • a B cup
Lifeaback · 28/03/2018 23:43

I think that all bikinis look quite nice on smaller boobs! I have found that wrap style with halter straps really suit me (bandeau ones just don't suit my shoulders so I avoid those but they tend to suit people with small boobs)

They pull everything together and create cleavage where normally there is none

BringBiscuits · 28/03/2018 23:51

Thanks for all your suggestions. I have always been small but since breastfeeding I feel even smaller (empty!).
I really feel for the teen mentioned earlier. Teenage lads (and girls) can be very cruel and comments like that can stay with you. ☹️

I have tiny boobs and find seafolly bikinis suit me

LemonysSnicket · 29/03/2018 00:41

Sports bra type ?

LoniceraJaponica · 29/03/2018 06:45

They only pull evrrything together if there is enough there in the first place. I like that black one though and think DD would look stunning in it.
