Am I the only one who is sick to death

... of stars on everything?

I thought we hit peak star last year. But to my dismay, all the SS18 stock is once again covered in stars! I am so sick of seeing a nice jumper, but oh no, it's got stars on it. Oh, like the cut of that leather jacket, but no, bloody stars all over it. Oh! I've been looking for some jeans of that exact style, but OH NO EFFING STARS EVERYWHERE.

Is it just me? I thought it was cute like three years ago. It's enough now.

Stripes are lovely on cotton joules Breton tops. But not with flowers too.

When are those ridiculous ripped jeans with the knees hanging out going to go?

DameDoom · 24/03/2018 15:33

I love leopard print - it can look totally trashy or uber-classy. It really is timeless when done well.
I loathe cold-shoulder tops and have never seen anyone look good in them.

CountFosco · 24/03/2018 15:51

Love stars, like a rainbow stripe detail, can't stand breton tops on grown women (my kids still look cute in them though). Like a slogan T in English (I have one saying 'Don't Blink'), but not in French.

I like high necks (I’m small chested).
But please can we stop with cropped and boxy tops.
Also this obsession with an overly voluminous sleeve. Flatters the minority.

ImTheMary · 24/03/2018 17:11

I fucking HATE stars. Not as much as I hate butterflies

rainbowfudgee · 24/03/2018 21:08

I love stars and rainbows.

That is all.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 24/03/2018 22:07

I love florals and stripes at the same time.

Have not a single thing with leopard print or with stars.

Can’t stand culottes.

RainyApril · 25/03/2018 11:42

I don't think I've ever seen anyone look good wearing wide leg cropped trousers.

Fed up of thinking I've found a lovely skirt on a clothes rail, only to find that it's actually a pair of the hideous unflattering things.

Surprised when I went shopping yesterday at how ubiquitous the frill is at the moment.

H&M yesterday had a pair of white denim, mid calf, wide leg jeans/trousers, with frayed hems-- in th window display, with a cropped top. They were like the complete manifestation of everything wrong with the world lighthearted obvs--

Frilly tulip style sleeves can bugger off.

Indeed. Those seem to pop up every few years or so as designers try to figure out what to do next. I did get a bit exasperated during the Chistmas season watching women drag those sleeves through the food at buffets.
