The annual leggings thread - will you be wearing them this spring?

Never an issue for me in winter as I always wear opaque tights and dresses or skirts.

But spring and summer (ha) leggings are always a nice idea! Still warm but can wear sandals.

Please let me know if you’ll be wearing leggings this year!

I'm more likely to wear them to work than anywhere else. Thinking about it, I don't think I ever wear leggings other than at work. They're practical for what I do. Even if not smart. I'd much rather be smart at work, but, hey ho.

All this vitriol is lovely Hmm

Isn't it just, jelly

With dresses, no. Looks frumpy.

With hi tops and hoodies/over-sized tshirts, yes, all the time.

I wear leggings all year round, mainly with long t shirts and trainers but only normally for the school run and at home.

I make sure they are thick and good quality as there’s nothing worse than walking behind someone in a thin pair that reveals everything!

Exactly how I wear them, FirstStep Smile

With dresses no, looks frumpy

I love how everyone has different ideas about fashion. My idea of frumpy is boring old t-shirts, sweatshirts and jeans, or blouses and trousers (not worn for work ). I call them frumpy mummy clothes 😆 That's what makes us all unique.

Everyone saying they look unflattering clearly needs to do the odd leg day at the gym - nothing like leggings to show those glute gains

missmorleyme · 24/03/2018 16:38

Yes, im in denial that my jeans dont fit me and have a majore muffin top going on, can get away with it right now as my coat covers most of the bumps but im not wobbling to the school and back everyday. At least then i can hide my lumps and bumps a bit (and im 23
😑 🤣)

You will have to prise my leggings out of my cold dead hands Grin I wear them with short tight dresses and shoe boots and leather jackets because they’re much more comfortable and practical than bare legs or tights.
