I got this lightweight hoody from Jack Wills. It's light, but very cosy, warm and soft, love it! The colour suits me too. Weirdly I paid a bit less last week than it is currently on the site for.

Two pairs of ankle boots in Dune, both on sale. One Chestnut and the other Black. They are half a size bigger than my actual size but so so comfortable and I love them. I hate shopping for shoes so was pleased these were the first boots I saw minutes after entering the hell that is Westfield shopping centre. They are also cheaper combined than the one pair I was originally planning to get from Russell and Bromley.

Neganforever · 19/03/2018 11:33

@Thirtyrock39 hope you're not disappointed with the hoody! Wearing mine today Grin

A few bits from the Hush sample sale including leather leggings for £100 and a leather mini for £40.

Two Diane von Furstenberg silk jersey wrap dresses on eBay. Both in excellent condition and set me back the princely sum of £80 for both, including postage.

Three Joseph jumpers, also eBay, for less that what it would cost for just one of them brand new.

Oh and the All Saints Bales leather jacket on sale, thanks to the collective power of Mumsnet!

(Note: I don't have a leather fetish, honest!)

zippyswife · 19/03/2018 11:58

@ella I love love your outfit. I wasn’t so keen on the top or trousers on the hush model. They look amazing you though! I’ll definitely consider them now! And I love the primark shoes too. Think I’ll copy your whole outfit intact Blush

I got some of the Aldi dupe Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream and it's fab (Lacura Miracle Cream). I had a tube of the proper stuff a few years ago and don't remember it being much superior to this, if at all really. My parched hands are much softer, and it was £3.99.

I got a couple of things in the Jigsaw sale. A gorgeous burgundy cardigan. It was hideously expensive full price but I paid around £80 for it. It's this one:

And also this jacket:

SansaryaAgain I too got the All Saints Bale Jacket due to MN frenzy buying thread. Weather's been too shit to wear it so far.

RiskIt4Biscuit · 19/03/2018 14:44

I recently bought a Georg Jensen Vivianna watch that I am absolutely loving at the moment. Got it on sale, so it wasn't too expensive.

Kevyn Aucoin contour products - the sculpting powder in light and the sculuting liquid in medium. I found them for around £5 each in TKMaxx. The colours are really good, and it looks much better than the contour products I have used before.

Lobsterface · 19/03/2018 14:45

I got a Becca foundation set from Qvc - not sure on the lipgloss but the bonus concealer stuff is fab. It cost me the same as the foundation on its own and it’s glowy so I love it.

Ellapaella · 19/03/2018 17:20

Thanks Zippy Smile I actually saw the jeans on an Instagram blog and they looked better on the girl wearing them than they do on Hush's own website. I am always searching for the holy grail of jeans and feel like I've finally found them. I really like the relaxed looser fit over usual skinnies.
Shoes are a total bargain - I usually get a couple of pairs as soon as they hit the shelves in Primark.

saucyspice · 19/03/2018 20:59

Have been using a juniper shampoo bar from Lush and it makes my hair feel amazing...very pleased! Also liking the ordinary hyaluronic acid

happyinherts · 19/03/2018 23:07

Bralet from M&S. No more wires and discomfort - but have to go up a size as pretty tight. Anyway, I love it.

Also a pale blue puffer jacket from New Look. Very light but very warm.

princessbear80 · 20/03/2018 14:10

@ellepaella I’ve just been to primark and bought those shoes after seeing your pic. Tempted by the jeans too, you look great. Total copycat here Blush

zippyswife · 20/03/2018 14:52

@ellapaella I’ve asked my mum to pick up a pair of your shoes while she’s out today.

Sadik · 20/03/2018 18:03

happyinherts I've recently discovered the joy of lace bralets. I've got a couple of these from FreePeople which are so, so comfy as well as pretty cute I think.

Has anyone bought anything they're really pleased with recently?
zippyswife · 20/03/2018 18:14

That’s lovely sadik. I wish I could wear them!

whirlygirly · 20/03/2018 19:11

Ella, those jeans are far nicer on you than on the site. Are you wearing your usual size? Just wondering whether to size up due to the reviews Hmm

Neganforever · 20/03/2018 19:16

@Sadik which bralet is the one you posted, do you have the name please? Love it.

So jealous of the bralets. When I was a wee slip of a thing I used to wear one of those with a men's shirt open on top and a pair of shorts plus DMS TO GO OUT IN. Now I couldn't even fit a nipple inside one, probably. Does anybody make such beauties to fit 34F cups?

Ellapaella · 20/03/2018 20:32

WhirlyGirly I am a standard 10 in bottoms in every high street shop and these are a size 10. Usually you need to size down in Hush but I would recommend with these jeans getting your usual size.

Ellapaella · 20/03/2018 20:33

Princess and zippy hope you like the shoes as much as I do, they are surprisingly hard wearing for £6!

rightknockered · 20/03/2018 20:48

My beautiful new DM brogues

VanGoghsLeftEar · 20/03/2018 20:53

A tomatonred sailcloth raincoat from SeaSalt Cornwall. £120 but an investment, and they will replace zips/buttons for you under s lifetime guarantee.

Tea tree and witch hazel with charcoal face mask from Boots. Left my skin feeling lovely.

Sadik · 20/03/2018 21:56

Neganforever, it's the Galloon racerback.
I have to say Remus that even with my best efforts and the MN Bra intervention (plus leaning forwards and making sure it's cold so my nipples stick out as far as possible) I only optimistically hit an A cup size. Not great for cleavage - but definitely good for bralets Grin
