I got this lightweight hoody from Jack Wills. It's light, but very cosy, warm and soft, love it! The colour suits me too. Weirdly I paid a bit less last week than it is currently on the site for.

Well it’s going back as it doesn’t suit me but a John Lewis Finery dress is the nicest quality I’ve seen in years. Decent fabric, lining etc. Love it. Just on the hanger!

Headinthedrawer · 18/03/2018 10:27

I bought this in Other Stories...I love it.Sizes are big though.I bought the smallest size and I'm usually a 10.Dont know what you do if you are a size 8 or under.

These Star frayed boyfriend jeans from Hush. I absolutely love them. I'm almost too scared to keep wearing them unless I wear them out! I very rarely find something that I want to wear over and over again but I love these.

They look great on you Ella. I see they only come in one length, can I ask how tall you are?

Ellapaella · 18/03/2018 11:13

I'm 5'7 Lucked

Crumpets4tea · 18/03/2018 11:24

Where is the rainbow jumper from ella?

IHaveBrilloHair · 18/03/2018 11:40

I have almost identical shoes Ella

Ellapaella · 18/03/2018 11:54

Crumpets the jumper is from Hush as well - am also very pleased with that to be honest but I'm wearing the jeans to death.

Brillo the shoes were a bargain from Primark - £6. They do the same every spring and I always get a pair - they go with everything.

Dandellion · 18/03/2018 12:51

Ella why not just buy another pair? I have just done this with the Next ones that I am currently wearing to death.

Appin · 18/03/2018 12:58

Agreed, the Whistles shirt is still outrageously expensive, even if it was in the sale. But I've worn it three times already and had loads of compliments, and it feels great to wear.

I got it in John Lewis and tried on three Phase Eight dresses for work at the same time. They were nice; but I put them back in favour of the shirt, so really I saved some money by buying it... Ach well, it was a treat! I drew the line at a lovely striped t-shirt in Whistles which is reduced to the staggering sum of £39 in the sale. Nonsense!

Still can't figure out if its actually dry clean - the care label and website description are contradictory.

Babyliss Big Hair #latetotheparty. I’m amazed by how easy it is for a beauty klutz like me to use.

I do fancy the look (and price, and colour) of those Uniqlo dresses. Must find a moment to sprint into town and try them on because my shoulders are a funny shape and that style of sleeve doesn’t always fit me.

I think that the Big Hair may be literally the only S&B thing I’ve bought all year apart from a rather nice knitted top I bought in a charity shop and then shrank in the wash Sad and a couple of camisoles and a thermal top in the M&S sale.

TravellingFleet · 18/03/2018 13:15

I replaced my trusty and beloved Rag and Bone jeans with... two pairs of Rag and Bone jeans, same style, different colours. High-waisted skinny ankle length in indigo and black. I had a lot of fun trying on some of the newer styles but ultimately wanted something classic to wear every day. If they’re as indestructible as the last pair, I’ll be wearing them a long time.

This mohair / wool jumper from Brora. Rather more than I'd usually spend, but I've wanted a good warm jumper for ages, and I'm thrilled with it. I've had so many positive comments about it from all different people. (It's also helped me feel a bit more cheerful about the weather Grin )

Jamie jeans from top shop!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/03/2018 15:58

Crazy boots I already have these in a different finish and they are super-comfortable.

Kipling rucksack in TK Maxx. Not the plain black I really wanted but only £40 so substantially cheaper!

RaptorInaPorkPieHat · 18/03/2018 17:43

I've been looking for a 'casual' blazer for a while and finally picked this one up from Miss Selfridge this week (of course now I've bought it, it's reduced). Decent price considering it's properly lined. DD16 approves, so it must be ok Wink

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/03/2018 19:37

I'm having a gentle scoot round for holiday gear (not loads but if I see something that will work with other things and a nice fabric then ok)

I got a linen/viscose top (natural beigey colour) in Primark, I always see things , think "oh nice" touch the fabric and recoil hoping no-one lights a match. This felt nice Smile

Also got a plain white V neck dress for over my swimsuit.

I will make a list (or pics on phone) so I know everything matches at least 2 other things .

This RUb Rub RUb shower scrub from Lush. I use it after the first shampoo with ordinary shampoo on my hair and it gives it great body and volume without sacrificing shine.

This very sweet roinbkw jumper from New Look of all places (rarely set foot in there). Ones having a very grumpy day on Thursday and this has been an immensely cheering purchase (also out of character as I rarely do retail therapy!). I don't have the midriff for cropped tops but wear it with long red vest top underneath. I wondered if I'd feel like an overgrown toddler but I love it!

Link here; not sure how to do picture.

Rimmel 60 second shine nail varnish £2 a bottle from Superdrug and really does dry in 60 seconds I don't think I'll buy anything else now

AmazingDetectiveSlashGenius · 18/03/2018 20:49

This blue suede jacket from TK Maxx. It was a bit of a punt for me as never had a bomber jacket before, but I love it to bits, fits perfectly and feels beautiful. It'll be ideal when the weather warms up some.

EyeDrops · 18/03/2018 21:54

Max Factor cream blusher. I'm a blusher newbie but it looks fab and it's so easy to apply!

Also a recent convert (via here) to Ponds Cold Cream for cleansing. It's so cheap and my skin is the best it's been in years. Slap it on (including over eyes/lashes), brush my teeth, wash it off, then moisturise (Nivea Soft too!). My skin is very happy.
