What do you think of this dress on me? If you dont like it, what sort of style would you suggest?

Thanks in advance.

Like it

But it could be better. I’m not sure why shops make those shapes where it’s sort of hour glass but actually hangs quite straight at the bottom.

Otherwise think it looks good on you. What’s it for?

Bluntness100 · 15/03/2018 19:13

It ok. It's not very flattering, not nipped in at the waist and the skirt is just straight up and down, not fitted not a line, not anything.the neckline and colour are nice. But it's not objectionable. It's ok.

FiveNightsAtMummys · 15/03/2018 19:16

I agree with the others it's nice but it could be a bit better fitted, have you tried a smaller Size?

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 15/03/2018 19:26

I had to go for a 14 to squash the boobs in. No way would i get into a 12. OH really loves the dress but i think it needs more something on the bottom. Its for a wedding. Mine. I want a redish colour to tie in tradition from my culture.

What’s your budget?

Bluntness100 · 15/03/2018 19:28

I don't think it's special enough for a wedding dress. I think it's good your fiancé loves it, but you need to too. You clearly don't as you're asking on here.

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 15/03/2018 19:29

Is this style better? If it was a v neck?

Thanks for the replies so far.

The best dress for your figure is with a deep v neck, fitted waist and, flared skirt. Like this:

I like the second dress better!nSeems to fit better

Nevercallmehun · 15/03/2018 19:36

I like the red one on you.

Awrite · 15/03/2018 19:37

I love the colour of the first dress but the shape of the second is so much better for your figure.

You have lovely skin by the way.

What shop is the second one from?

Ofthread · 15/03/2018 19:37

Ooh, the one that Outy posted would look amazing on you. The shade of red of the first one is great with your skin tone.

ChampagneSocialist1 · 15/03/2018 19:43

this is nice

Lentilbaby · 15/03/2018 19:47

I think a high neck with big boobs doesn't work. You'd look fab in a vintage dress like the one Outy has posted!

mimibunz · 15/03/2018 19:50

Try for a v-neck wrap dress? You’ve got a great figure, make the most of it! Smile

PragmaticWench · 15/03/2018 19:51

The second dress is far too high at the front for your figure.

The dress suggestion from Outy is fab!

gettingtherequickly · 15/03/2018 19:53

Definitely not a high neckline for bigger boobs.
That dress is a great colour, if only it was a v neck.
I like the first one, bu5 also the one that was posted later.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 15/03/2018 19:55

That green dress Outy posted is beautiful and something like that in red would work really well. Good luck!

NellMangel · 15/03/2018 19:56

Yes, nice dresses and fab figure, but agree that neckline too high on both.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 15/03/2018 19:57

Something like this?

Is it tk maxx? Nice dresses!

pimlicolife · 15/03/2018 20:06

I think you have a lovely shape and the red dress doesn't do it justice.

LemonysSnicket · 15/03/2018 20:30

Add a belt? Not making the most of your waist though is nice. Try a wrap dress?

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 15/03/2018 20:49

Thank you all. Both dresses are in tk maxx.

I like the shape of thw green one posted. Any ideas where i can find something similar in red? Or coral? Idealy in a shop i can go to, really cant afford to order multiple and wait for a refund. I have, debenhams, jl, plus the majority of highstreet stores near me.
