I’ve been doing the CG method for about 8 months now, but I think I need to try some new products.

I have quite fine hair, and it’s wavy/curly. I was using the Cantu range (shampoo, conditioner and curl activator) plus a cheap gel, but have started to switch to Shea Moisture. I use the fruit fusion shampoo for fine hair and it’s made my curls a lot bouncier.

I think I might buy the fruit fushion conditioner, but does anyone have any recommendations for a light curl creme and gel? My curls seem to drop by the end of the day, so I think I need more hold.

Any advice greatly appreciated!

I have fine curly hair- the only thing which works for me is Kerastase leave-in conditioner. It's fantastic, very light and encourages/holds curls. Will find a link.

Not cheap but worth it

fedup I don’t go anywhere special! I don’t have any curly hairdressers locally to me, so I just go to a guy who does a lot of perms, so he sort of knows how curly hair falls if you know what I mean? He cuts mine straight into a long bob (but only a very slight graduation from back to front) and then it springs into more of a normal bob when it goes curly. I think you are supposed to cut curly hair by cutting each curl individually, but this way works fine for me.

Thanks...I will try and find someone who does perms! If anyone knows a curly hairdresser in East Anglia let me know!

Boots pink curl creme in a tub, it's amazing for defining curls and waves, it holds all day and isn't sticky, I'm very curly and I'd rate this stuff better than the Bumble & Bumble curl range. Read the reviews.
If you try it and like it stock up because people tend to buy it in bulk, one day the shelves are overflowing, the next day they are empty.

I don't have fine hair , in fact it's super thick but I use cantu conditioner to co wash and then a blob of the cream on soaking wet hair and then I diffuse and top up the bits that need it with the mousse .
