My Mint Velvet jeans have gone at the twat

The denim has split on one leg at the top of my inner thigh, parallel to the middle seam. I've only had them three months (but I have worn them A LOT and I do a lot of walking). Does this happen to anyone else? What is the issue here? Do I need to go up a size or is twat-wear inevitable?

oh, that is impressive FabulouslyGlamorousFerret. It actually looks quite brilliant.

On a serious note, I have been having a tough time since September for various reasons and I'm trying to save money because of it (hence wearing the jeans out). So thank you for repair suggestions. I thought they were doomed.

Did they go when you were pulling them up? A lot of mine do this 🙄🙄.. I also have sturdy thighs .

Mingmoo · 22/02/2018 19:32

I think probably walking around in a hurry. I've only just noticed it. Maybe I over-strode...

Bluntness100 · 22/02/2018 20:51

Velvet does this, it has no strength. Could you patch with some leather

This made me laugh loud, I can't decide if the poster is taking rhe piss or actually thinks you have mint coloured velvet jeans 🤣🤣🤣🤣

BuzzKillington · 22/02/2018 20:51

My husband's jeans do this. We blame his bollocks.

TheSpottedZebra · 22/02/2018 20:57

Turn them into chaps?
To wear when riding, over other, betwatted trews.

TheFaerieQueene · 22/02/2018 21:00

Can I suggest a name change to mingemoo? Grin

Mingmoo · 22/02/2018 21:47

Ha, TheFaerieQueene, I should really have thought of mingemoo...

God all my jeans do this. It's how I know I've chubbed up. And regular trousers go bobbly which is weird and grim. My bf and I always referred to them as our fat releasing holes.

ToHullAndBack · 22/02/2018 22:36

I called my halogen oven a twat yesterday. Misses point of thread...

Chicinwellies · 22/02/2018 22:43

Hahaha good thread op. Have to say my MV jeans purchased every January in the John Lewis sale, are always my buy of the year. I work in them, walk the dogs in them, and adore them. Not that this helps your twat.

ChishandFips33 · 23/02/2018 00:02

It's just your Mary breaking free ready for the Spring fresh air Grin

I would link to this thread in an email to MV or the Daily Fail and shame their shoddy workmanship

Didiusfalco · 23/02/2018 00:11

I clicked on this thread for no other reason but the title...
I like your turn of phrase op!

wewentoutonsunday · 23/02/2018 00:15

Twat patch Grin

PickAChew · 23/02/2018 00:16

Is it me or had mint velvet had s weird revamp? Walked thru jihn Lewis, the othfay, and it was all weird blue and orange, the same as hush, rather than grey.

PickAChew · 23/02/2018 00:17

Without late night drunk typos

Mingmoo · 23/02/2018 10:49

'fat releasing holes'

Grin

I think this may be part of the problem.
