Perfume Parlour: Do they do Chanel smell-a-likes?

Recently discovered PP from another thread on here. been impressed by first couple of buys but can't find any that emulate Chanel. Have Chanel sued them or something? I'm after Cristalle and No 19.

They do have them but the names are not similar at all... someone figured them out by looking at the notes i think, hopefully they or someone else can post a list

OH right. I have tried searching Shannell etc

I've just had a look and it's not working for Chanel. Tried putting another brand name in and it came up as usual. Strange.

They definitely did them because I have one of their Chanel dupes.

I got some Chanel dupes from pp a while ago. Then, suddenly pffft, tried again, they had disappeared. I mentioned it on the perfumista thread and it was suggested Chanel had probably tried to legally challenge them and they'd probably reappear on pp in a different guise. Haven't found it so far. It's a shame coz they were, mostly, very good. I especially liked the long obsolete no. 55.

I think I may have found them: Clear (obvious really!) Adoring, Delicacy, Spike(?) and Perfect. Just thought it was strange that there was no 'similar to' next to them and read the reviews. 'Chanel' has been edited out. I'm thinking from the notes included and the name that 'Clear' might be Cristalle. Worth a punt at those prices. Thanks for your help!

Check the last page of the perfumista thread, someone reposted a screenshot of the list.
I have Sycomore which is great, but 19 is nothing like. If you want a Cristalle dupe, try Yardley Jade.

Buy Yardley Jade. It’s Chanel Cristalle but longer lasting.

My order from Amazon arrived today. Jade by Yardley smells a lot like Chanel Cristalle and for £8 I am a happy, fragrant bunny!

Yes it’s very convincing. Glad I didn’t find it in my Boots store(they only had Lily if the Valley, Lavender and Rose by Yardley) as it was so cheap on Amazon. By the way that link to the perfume thread doesn’t seem to work!

BTW have you tried Superdrug’s version of Jo Malone’s Lume Basil and Mandarin? It’s £5!! I haven’t but wondered what you perfume experts think.

Yes! I got the purse spray set of 3 in the sales at Christmas and ran back to get the full sized bottle, and candle! It's gorgeous. It doesn't last very long, but hey, at that price, you can go for a resquirt. It's certainly better than Jo Malone which is overpriced for what it actually is and not at all long lasting.
