These shoes - gorgeous or hideous?

I LOVE them, but my three go-to people (gf, best friend & sister) all hate them. Is my judgement seriously warped?! I’m thinking with jeans or wide legged black trousers...

They had them in Primark last year.

I don't hate the shoes but NO WAY would I pay that for them.

The price, for what they are, is insane.

I would love them if they were half the price but at that price I don't like them.

Not my thing personally. I think the price is insane. Lots of similar ones on ASOS for about a third of that.

I quite like the shape but the pattern and the big white sole are hideous in my opinion.

Either a pattern or a cross over but not both imo.

I like the crossover style, but they look like plastic to me, sorry, and the finish is not great on the sides if you look closely at pic 3..

I think they could work really well, but at that price I'm never going to find out. If I had that kind of money, I'd spend it on something else.

(But I do usually try to wait for sales, it makes me feel better if I can get things for substantially less than the full price)

Definitely look like Hotter shoes that are trying to be trendy. Ugly, ugly ugly, huge white sole, look clumpy and as far from edgy and fashionable as I can picture but then again this is a site that thinks Saltwater Sandals are the height of fashion.

That crossover style is very fashionable and I think for leather trainers (that are, oh bliss, lined with leather as well) the price is perfectly reasonable. I like the thick soles (really want flatforms but have not bought any yet) and the snake print.

Trouble is with clothes is if you buy something fashionable lots of people won't get it yet (see ugly comments above) but if you wait until those people like the look of what you are buying then the fashionistas will have moved onto the next thing. You'll never please everyone so just buy what you like and enjoy.

They are very chunky and wide. I tried these on (in a plain leather) and they made my size 6 feet look ENORMOUS.

So for me, they would be a no.

I like them but if you go to Matalan, you can get some very similar for a tenner!
