Is this dress dreadful?

I can't get past how bloody practical it is. I'm a teacher. Chuck that on with some flat lace ups. Done. I want it in both designs. Do I need a quiet sit down in a darkened room?

I like it, easy and practical and you’ll wear it a lot. I’d buy.

TheExtraPickle · 11/02/2018 03:31

I like the style and pattern but the cut looks a little loose and baggy. What's your body shape?

Flamingoose · 11/02/2018 03:33

I'm 5'4, size 10, if I put on weight it goes on my tummy which is not ideal for this dress...

It's mail order. I think I'll have a punt and return if it does nothing for me.

I like them - prefer the gold dots one though - a little bit more unusual than the bird print.

TealStar · 11/02/2018 03:36

If you’re wearing it to work I’d imagine that’s fine. Not the lost inspiring of outfits but very often reality means wanting a working wardrobe of fuss-free outfits that you can pull on without thinking while simultaneously wiping porridge from the table, feeding the dog and finding your dc’s lost PE kit.

TealStar · 11/02/2018 03:38

I’d probably accessorise them with a few cuff bangles / bracelets and pair them with fitted cardigans and blazers. Some cool shoe boots or flat loafers/brogues perhaps.

Flamingoose · 11/02/2018 06:41

Exactly Teal. I reckon it doesn't even need ironing.

I like it. Very practical. Looks nice and comfy and not the usual boring practical workwear.

Blueberryblueberry · 11/02/2018 06:49

I have a couple of dresses in a similar style - perfect for work. Wheres it from op?

Leilaniiii · 11/02/2018 06:56

I like it a lot!

strawberryblondebint · 11/02/2018 07:04

Aha but does it have pockets

PorklessPie · 11/02/2018 07:34

I like the one with spots, where is it from?Smile

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 11/02/2018 08:29

It’s a fine one to throw on for Work Op !

chaplin1409 · 11/02/2018 08:33

I like it. Where is it from?

Bluntness100 · 11/02/2018 08:33

The spotty one is better, it's never going to draw admiring gasps, but as a basic work dress, it looks comfy enough.

NotSoSprightly · 11/02/2018 08:34

I like it! Where's it from? Might buy one myself!

Justgotmypositive · 11/02/2018 08:34

I like them both. Where are they from?

missyB1 · 11/02/2018 08:36

Perfect work dresses, and can be worn with a plain fitted cardigan and flat shoes - sorted!

HollyBollyBooBoo · 11/02/2018 08:40

Love the gold spotty one, would love it even more with a v neck rather than round neck. Where are they from please?

Flamingoose · 11/02/2018 09:02

I'm not in UK. Am buying from a website that sells various brands Ezibuy.com. The brand of the dress is Capture.

Strawberry - no pockets sadly.

I do have a lovely skirt with enormous pockets that I often find board pens in at the end of the day. I'm never sure if I put them there or they fall in.

dammit - $45 delivery to the UK....

IHeartKingThistle · 11/02/2018 09:06

Cool coloured belts would make them look lovely.

Elledorado · 11/02/2018 09:44

The dresses I've ordered through this website have been dire OP. This particular dress would be very frumpy on me - esp the sleeves and neckline. Could just be my figure though. (I have to admit to buying some real gems on ezibuy from time to time).
