Liz Earle hair range is good and free from parabens / sulphates

DarthNigel · 09/01/2018 22:16

L'Oréal vitamino range-you can get it from amazon....quite spendy though but good stuff-my hairdresser recommended it after I had my hair keratin treated.

GummyGoddess · 09/01/2018 22:19

Aldi conditioner is silicone free, the yes to cucumbers shampoo for coloured hair is sulfate free.

Another conditioner is the shea moisture one, they have normal and leave in conditioner.

Littlemissdemeanour · 09/01/2018 22:20

Jason is the best brand I've used, very reasonable and fab results- and I've tried them all 😂

GummyGoddess · 09/01/2018 22:21

And what I only found out in the last 6 months is that silicones end in -xane on ingredients as well as -one.

Ohyesiam · 09/01/2018 22:22

Go to British curlies site, and shop from there

VelvetGreen · 09/01/2018 22:24

Noughty (used to be Naked)

Theshipsong · 10/01/2018 00:04

If you are on facebook, there is a group called 'Curly girls'. They mainly use conditioners only to 'wash' their hair but they have a long list of shampoos and conditioners that are free from both. Yes to Carrots is one that springs to mind.

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 10/01/2018 00:12

There's a Tresemme one (Naturals or something?) that is sulphate/silicone free. I use it for co-washing if I run out of Aveda.

OutToGetYou · 10/01/2018 00:21

Moogoo - I find this nicer than Jason to be honest.

Alwaysinmyheart · 10/01/2018 09:37

Timmytoo · 10/01/2018 09:42

Burts Bees do a sulphate free shampoo that is also suitable for babies as it does not sting if it gets in the eyes. It smells fairly pleasant too.

LardLizard · 11/01/2018 18:23

The Moroccan oil products in tbe blue packaging list a silicone as first ingredient. The one with -ane

FairyFuckDailyMail · 11/01/2018 22:17

Most of the Cantu ones in boots and if you have a TK Maxx nearby I buy most of my ones there. Much cheaper and bigger bottles for under £10

LardLizard · 13/01/2018 00:35

Oh ffs wasted 40 quid on that shit hairdresser told me it was silicone free😡

OP posts:
lasttimeround · 13/01/2018 08:29

The first 3 ingredients are silicone. There is some arrange oil in there but basically moroccan oil works via silicone

Dimethicone is the one that coats your hair and makes it all slimey, so look out for that on packaging.
