Something that will wash off make up

I want something that will take my make up off quickly and easily with minimum faff. I used a Bobbi Brown think for a while and liked it (smelt amazing) but wouldn't mind trying something new.

That clinique stuff that comes in the purple tub is incredible

youllneverknow · 29/12/2017 20:12

Definitely Clinique Take the Day Off balm. It's so easy to use and works better than anything else I've used. I just put it on my face, it melts my makeup and I wipe it off with a hot flannel. Amazing stuff!

FabalaTheGreenGirl · 29/12/2017 20:18

Pure coconut oil and a washcloth. Works for me (and I wear a LOT of makeup)

userofthiswebsite · 29/12/2017 20:20

Haven't bought it yes as others to use up first but heard many positive tings about Garnier's Micellar Water...

BumWad · 29/12/2017 20:22

Clinique take the day off balm is excellent

Gorja · 29/12/2017 20:24

Superdrug hot cloth cleanser. Rub it on wipe away with hot flannel. Cheap and very effective.

Nyancat · 29/12/2017 20:49

Body shop camomile balm. I wear loads of makeup and this works brilliantly.

MrsFoxPlus4 · 29/12/2017 20:54

I take most mines off with a wipe then take the day off calm & a microfibre cloth. Tone, moisturise.

Me too.

I rarely wear make-up nowadays but when I used to wear it regularly, LancÔme was my go to - the one for dry skin (cleanser and very mild toner). The eye make-up remover is particularly gentle, and effective. The cleanser comes in an opaque white bottle, the toner if I remember correctly is pale pink (clear bottle), and the eye make-up remover is a smaller, clear, blue bottle. They will give you free samples on the counter if you want to test any of them.

Dermalogica cleanser. Takes everything off including the most stubborn mascara. Best one I've ever used.

LoniceraJaponica · 29/12/2017 21:05

The Bodyshop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter fully deserves its 5 star reviews.

tandt5 · 29/12/2017 22:45

Liz Earle cleanse and Polish easily takes off everything.
Clinique purple bottle and lancome bifacil are great too.
Garnier micellar water as well.

saveyourkissesforme · 29/12/2017 22:50

Both the Clinique TTDO pot and the Body Shop one are excellent. TBS is the most cost effective.

WipsGlitter · 30/12/2017 09:28

Thanks everyone off to google these.

Liz Earle-clense and polish
Elemis Cleansing balm, they also do a spray oil which when washed off is not oily at all (gets rid of my hard to remove mascara too)
No7 do a similar cleanse polish thing
Theres loads really i suppose

trigger2 · 30/12/2017 12:32

I like Simple Cleansing Oil or Bioderma Micellar water AR (anti redness one)

squiz81 · 30/12/2017 13:22

Lush ultrabland is really good and i love the smell

treaclesoda · 30/12/2017 13:24

Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean.

Only cleanser that I've ever bought over and over again. Leaves my skin so soft, removes all makeup without harsh rubbing, and smells gorgeous.

LoniceraJaponica · 30/12/2017 13:24

I didn't get on with Lush Ultrabland. It is so thick and gloopy that I had to use soap afterwards. I don't recall it having any kind of smell either.

abitoflight · 30/12/2017 13:25

On MN swears by there were WOW cloths that remove make up with just water
DD pleased with hers and her friends have them
Reduced to £3.75

formerbabe · 30/12/2017 13:28

I used to take my make up off with ponds cold cream...which reminds me, I need to buy some more.

RhymingCrickets · 30/12/2017 13:30

Olive oil works really well. Just be sure you properly wipe it off your eye area if you wear contacts, or they can go blurry.

jinglebells203 · 30/12/2017 14:18

Nivea Daily Eye Make Up Remover is amazing at removing waterproof makeup easily....I swear by it....it's around £3 but sometimes on offer for £1.50.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 30/12/2017 14:24

Micellar water doesn't touch my makeup, but Ive got one of those wow cloths (primark do one for a quid) and that gets rid of it. Cleansing oil (any really) with a warm flannel. Super drug unscented eye make up remover.

MrsGloop · 30/12/2017 14:27

Dermalogica pre-cleanse oil
