Something that will wash off make up

I want something that will take my make up off quickly and easily with minimum faff. I used a Bobbi Brown think for a while and liked it (smelt amazing) but wouldn't mind trying something new.

Another vote for Liz Earle cleanse and polish, used it for 15 years and swear by it.

Norwex make up cloths, just add water

Garnier's Micellar Water... I do use this.

Actually bought it on a whim, does take off all my makeup, and seems to be the only thing that takes off my eye liner, which doesn't budge for anything else.

Seconding coconut oil. I but it in Aldi. Not 100% sure of the price but definitely less than a fiver for a big glass jar that lasts ages.

Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm is lovely.
Kanebo Cleansing Oil is amazing, but super expensive and now only available in Harrods.

I love the garnier micella water - yellow one with the oil in.

Philosophy Purity made simple is amazing. You can actually see it drawing the crap out of your pores and it gets all eye make up off.

Clinique the one in the purple bottle is amazing. Was given it free when I brought foundation. It’s bloody amazing then saw the price for the first time last week, I’ve been putting it off buying a new bottle but it’s so good

WipsGlitter · 30/12/2017 18:54

I've gone for the Clinique one in the bottle and cloths.

Thanks everyone.

Coconut oil fan here, eye make up comes off amazing

Agree with others saying you need a cleansing balm or oil. But it must be one which will emulsify in water unless you want to double cleanse with a water soluble cleanser after the balm. Plain oils alone will dissolve make-up but they won't remove it from skin alone without some form of emulsifier.

I recommend Clinique cleansing balm, elegies cleansing balm and cleansing oil, and my favourite ESPA cleaning balm although it is very expensive. Emma Hardie cleansing balm is nice too. The bodyshop one one looks good but haven't tried that yet, and Champneys have one that looks nice too. I tries the Pixie double cleanser which was Ok, I liked the cream more than the balm. Their regular cleaning balm doesn't emulsify though so you would need to follow with a face wash.

I can't imagine anyone wanting to cleanse with plain olive oil.
