Beauty products you DON'T like?

I was thinking about makeup products that I DON'T like and I came up with a LOT.

Allow me to share a few with you:

Bourjois serum foundation- horrible formula, made my dry skin very, very oily.
Dior Forever foundation- oxidised a LOT
Freedom eyebrow product (like ABH Dipbrow but shit)
Maybelline Lash Sensational (pale pink tube) mascara- just thought it was rubbish
Max Factor lipstick (stick one)- slid all over my mouth and felt so oily.
Colourpop lipstick- all looks purple on me and I have 20 of them Sad
Benefit They're Real mascara- clumped my lashes together
Bourjois concealer- oxidised a LOT
Benefit Push Up eyeliner- dried out quickly and was awful after that.
Collection mascara- Black tube. Literally did NOTHING.
Natural collection foundation- when blended out it went all clumpy and came off my face and went GREY??

I have a few Make Up Revolution highlighters- the silver one doesn't even show up?! Love my gold one though Confused

The worst one... Illamasqua rich liquid foundation. Went patchy as hell and separated. Looked disgusting. £36 as well. ----2/10.

Might be controversial, but I have to use twice the amount of MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation to get full coverage than what I do with my L'Oréal one. Is it just me? About six/ eight pumps to do my whole face, whereas the L'Oréal one (infalliable in the glass bottle) is usually three, four at a maximum but rarely needed.

What about you?Grin

I don’t like Benefit Benetint or High Beam. Maybe I wasn’t applying them properly but I found them too much faff and they didn’t look good. I’m not really a fan of any Benefit make-up tbh.

Chanel nail polish is the worst beauty product ever created. Truly shite.

BlueEyedWonder · 19/12/2017 22:13

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara - Gives me panda eyes by lunch.

RegretingTheElf · 19/12/2017 22:18

Hate any contour pallets

Bare minerals foundation

Ollivander84 · 19/12/2017 22:18

Oh I love colourpop lipsticks!
Don't like illamasqua skin base, just kind of smeared around my face
Maybelline mascara original, the pink and green tube. Did nothing

MarmaladeAtkinsX · 19/12/2017 22:26

Benefit - their packaging breaks and cracks ruining the products. Total disappointment.

Gah81 · 20/12/2017 07:57

Chanel nail varnish. Pretty colours, super expensive, but barely lasts a day.

Emma Hardie Moringa cleanser. I have never had an allergic reaction to any product before. But this broke me out in tiny itchy bumps all over my face!

MorrisZapp · 20/12/2017 08:01

Bourjois serum foundation is the only one I can wear! It's lovely on my mega parched skin.

Sali hughes says Chanel have reformulated their nail polish and it's now at least five times as good as it was before.

MorrisZapp · 20/12/2017 08:03

I didn't like the moringa cleanser either. And the Eve Lom smells like a wrung out tent.

gunsandbanjos · 20/12/2017 08:05

Another Chanel nail polish hater here, utter utter tripe.
Dior lip tattoo - dreadful stuff!

pickledsausage · 20/12/2017 08:05

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes, smudged and a nightmare to remove!

Airbiscuits · 20/12/2017 08:18

I bought some Dior BB cream thingy on the back of good reviews. It was dreadful. Patchy and drying and made me look like I was wearing a death mask.

MorrisZapp · 20/12/2017 08:42

BB and CC cream is like a death mask on me in general. See also 'tinted moisturiser' aka smears of orange which highlight pores.

meep87 · 20/12/2017 08:46

Eve Lom cleanser, cannot get over the scent, ugh!

The Ordinary Hyaluronic serum, didn't like the texture and it made my skin itchy.

I think I'm the only one who loves Chanel nail polish (and yes, the new formula is better) - currently wearing one which is 8 years old, still as good as new and not chipping.

Lottapianos · 20/12/2017 08:47

I agree about Bourjois serum foundation - looks way too orange on me, even in the lightest shade. Everyone else seems to love it though!

NYX lip oil or sheer matte lip cream - dry and horrible. Their matte lipsticks are great though

Lotsofsausage · 20/12/2017 09:01

Benefit they're real mascara- goes on nicely but smudges under my eyes then hard to rub off as it's waterproof

ABH dip brow pomade - dries out really quick - got about one week's use out if it for £20 - awful

Any top coat APART FROM seche vite/ essie

MaryPoppinsStoleMyHandbag · 20/12/2017 09:06

Oh, and that Wunderbrow thing that everyone raved about last year. Used twice - looked like I’d drawn on my face with crayon. Now sitting in drawer gathering dust.

KhalliWali · 20/12/2017 09:09

I don't like anything that is tested on animals, which is most of the above, unfortunately.

PasDeDeux · 20/12/2017 09:24

I don't like highlighters. Why would you want a shimmery forehead/cheekbones? I think I just really don't understand how to use them Blush

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 20/12/2017 09:29

Charlotte Tillbury mascara...terrible panda eyes Sad

Chanel nail varnish.

AnaViaSalamanca · 20/12/2017 10:07

touche eclat (too yellow)
anything charlotte tilbury
eve lom cleanser, generally find these balm cleansers a lot of faff and not cleansing enough. To be honest I don't even really understand the concept of double cleanse...

Callamia · 20/12/2017 10:26

I quite like Chanel polish.
I agree that bare minerals isn’t worth it, and I love mineral make-up. The colour is far too orange. (Laura Mercier ftw).

I wouldn’t buy benefit for myself either. Too much like style over substance.

MotherOfMinions · 20/12/2017 10:46

Benefit They're Real mascara- makes lashes stick together and ends up pulling them out.

Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation- powdery and looks like old lady foundation

omBreROSE · 20/12/2017 11:00

Yes! Lash sensational Maybelline - absolutely useless!

Jerseysilkvelour · 20/12/2017 11:17

Benefit they're real - terrible product

Lottie London the entire range, awful waste of money from beginning to end
