Just wondering what products people buy over and over and have been using for years? My stalwarts that I've been using for well over a decade are: nivea q10 night cream, lauder night repair, kerastace masqueintense, eve lom cleanser and Neutrogena body oil.

Bourjois mascara for 15 years. I’ve tried various pricier brands, but I always go back.

I’ve also used Barry M lip tint for at least a decade. I even wore it on my wedding day.

Littlelambpeep · 11/12/2017 00:03

Ultraglow bronzer. There is no competition! Have to order it online these days, though, as Boots and Superdrugs stopped stocking it because its not fashionable.

LazyDailyMailJournos · 12/12/2017 20:24

Rimmel nail polishes for a number of years.

Max Factor Masterpiece mascara since they released it (I can't find the product release date, but I remember they advertised it at the time in conjunction with the film version of Memoirs of a Geisha, which Google tells me was 2005).

But the thing I have been using the longest is my favourite perfume, which is L'eau D'Issey by Issey Miyake. I started wearing it at age 18 and am 38 now.

Ladybirdbookworm · 12/12/2017 21:52

Rose and Glycerin facial tonic from Boots

I always end up repurchasing it - it smells lovely , is cheap as chips , is fabulously moisturizing for my dry skin and comes in a very pretty bottle .

WillowWept · 12/12/2017 21:57

Clinique clarifying lotion and Mitchum deodorant. Twenty odd years for both.

FourEyesGood · 12/12/2017 22:18

Simple eye make-up remover.
Elnett hairspray.
Boots No. 7 concealer (knock-off touche éclat).
Max Factor Masterpiece mascara.

With everything else, I don’t think I’ve bought the same thing twice in a row! Will definitely be repurchasing ELDW Light foundation when this one runs out, though. I’m a recent convert.

Vaseline in the green tin. Chanel nail polish. Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish.

RefuseTheLies · 13/12/2017 01:46

Revlon colour stay foundation. Been using it for 22 years now.

Loonoonow · 13/12/2017 01:58

I think it's really interesting that there haven't been many responses to this. I think it shows that make up and skin care have made huge improvements over the last few years and there is room to update and improve.

For instance I used Anne `French for about 20 years to remove makeup, then Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish for about 10 years but now I prefer micellar water which wasn't available until quite recently.

On the other hand my makeup blogger DD uses Astral moisturiser which I thought was dated back in the 70s.
