Day by Day M&S Beauty Calendar- No Spoilers!

Are we all ready? Stand by your beds for tomorrow! I just keep looking at mine in wonderment. It really cheered me up every day last December having something to open every morning Smile

I couldn't see another day by day thread - happy to delete mine if someone else has one.

I loved last year's Neal's Yard hand cream and the Rosie lip gloss too. In fact, I've bought a couple more of the lip glosses through the year.

Yesterday's packaging said not recommended for the face so might be worth doing a patch test first if you've got super sensitive skin.

I liked today's offering. I've seen this brand on QVC but not tried it until this morning. Loving the image of loads of us with our face masks!

Oh yes I remember the excitement of the hand cream on Day 1 last year. It was such a good first day and set me up for real excitement over the period - plus I could bring it into work and show everyone. Can't see me using shimmery body lotion, seems a bit teenagery - might give it to my neice at Christmas.

I like today's offering. I was going to have a face mask tonight, so this is perfect. I currently have a classic case of winter face, so hoping for a miracle Grin

So I used the face mask this morning. The tube is now on the window ledge and you can see how much is left. I reckon it has four applications in total which is pretty good.

The body glow says it shouldn't be used for face. Too stinky for me anyway!

I do love a face mask so will look forward to trying this out. I was planning on putting it on one side given the amount of stuff I already have open but maybe I should dive straight in like everyone else.

Looking forward to trying the face mask! Do you think it's best to use it in the morning before makeup? Or night before bed?

Used the mask this morning; it did sting a bit round my nose (full of a cold) but after 20 minutes the affects were impressive, especially on my crows feet Wink

Fred instructions (from M&S website) are to apply a layer all over face, including eye contour area, and leave for15-30 mins, before removing with damp cotton wool. I showered it off.

My face feels smooth and my skin feels tight after using the mask. Not sure whether that is the intention but that's what its done. I have bare skin atm with nothing else on top which might be why it's feeling tight.

I opened one today. The cream smells nice but it only adds shimmer to my skin.
Day 2 haven’t tried face mask yet.

Not loving day 1, seems the sort of thing that will just sit in my cabinet until I throw it out, but looking forward to using day 2 now. Haven't used a face mask for ages.

I tried Day one's product on my face, and it added a bit of colour. I then read "not suitable for facial use"

Not too pleased withh day one....perfume is overpowering. Gave it to my teenage daughter. Love today's one. Have party later on so relaxing at moment with it on. I'm sure my friends won't know me later😁

Hmm, two lots of moisturiser later and my face is still tight! Hopefully its making me look younger but it feels odd.

Oh but Ive just applied the day 1 product to my legs and its nice. No colour difference on me since my skin is olive toned anyway but its made them subtly shimmery and gives the illusion that they're more sculpted.

Its not as good as the agent provocateur shimmer lotion but it isn't bad and its probably a lot cheaper.

Off out tonight so will use yesterday’s for a bit of shimmer and today’s to ease my hangover face tomorrow!
