£4 ! Trousers next clearance online !

Would never have even tried them on for £30 but I love them. Chuffed

OP posts:

I think your first instincts not to try them on were right but maybe they'd be better with flip-flops in summer? The short length and wide leg cut don't look right. Sorry

MismatchedCat · 02/11/2017 09:48

They look fab, well done!

2014newme, I think we are all so used to skinny jeans that anything so wide and short looks odd. But this silhouette is the cutting-edge of trends right now, all part of the nineties revival. Best get used to it, because it will only become more popular!

Ididnthearanything · 02/11/2017 09:49

Nice bargain OP. I like them on you too!

2014newme · 02/11/2017 09:58

Ooo I am behind the times! Op is slim and I thought would look great in a slimmer fit. I'm out the loop!

2014newme · 02/11/2017 09:58

90s revival? Please tell me shell suits aren't included!

buttwingsham · 02/11/2017 09:59

Fab trousers they look great!
So nice to see new shapes I'm so over skinnys.

spankhurst · 02/11/2017 10:00

But the 90s have only just finished haven't they??!

Dauphinoise · 02/11/2017 10:01

They look good on you, but I'd look a sack of shit in something that baggy and wide

Fab bargain though

PolkaDottyRose · 02/11/2017 10:09

I have these too, in every colour. I like them, obvs .

IjustbelieveinMe · 02/11/2017 10:16

Is this a joke? They are awful!

fuckinguseless · 02/11/2017 10:16

Burn them. Immediately.

Mulberrysilk · 02/11/2017 10:49

I could see them with flip flops alright. I'm not entirely convinced on wearing boots with them.

Bratsandtwats · 02/11/2017 11:40

Nope. Sorry, but I think they're hideous. There is usually a reason stuff ends up in the sale and it's not usually a good one.

sparechange · 02/11/2017 12:40

Did you take the hem down or did they really sell them like that? Shock

OnASummersDay · 02/11/2017 12:43

I can't believe people are being so mean! Anonymity is not an allowance for rudeness. You wouldn't act in such a horrible manner in real life, people's true colours really do come out when they're hidden behind a keyboard.

OP, they look great on you. A fabulous bargain!

mowglik · 02/11/2017 12:46

I just bought a pair like this from H&M, they look great OP. Might have a look at the other colours. They look good with trainers with a bit of ankle showing as well as ankle boots

2014newme · 02/11/2017 12:50

The let down hem look doesn't go with formal boots though does it?

ScoobyDoosTinklyLaugh · 02/11/2017 13:02

They're cool.

Swizzlesticks23 · 02/11/2017 13:04

Don't like them with the boot

A loafer etc would look great

Rednailsandnaeknickers · 02/11/2017 13:06

Even at £4, I’d still want the hems finished properly. It may be a trendy look, but to me it just looks tatty and unfinished. Sorry!

WipsGlitter · 02/11/2017 13:19

They were certainly a bargain but they’re not that nice. Maybe as a beach trouser? Agree the unfinished hem and smart boots don’t really match.

430West · 02/11/2017 13:27

You look fab OP, the let down hem and polished boot combo was big at Balenciaga. You need a long, oversized coat (camel maybe?) and you're good to go.

It is quite a 'dog whistle' look though...you'll get a fist bump from me and others who realise that they are the 'now' thing, but a lot of people who don't understand fashion will laugh at you.

Pah, ignore the philistines!

fuckinguseless · 02/11/2017 13:32

MayFayner · 02/11/2017 13:32

Fair play OP, nothing like a decent bargain.

90s revival? Please tell me shell suits aren't included!

2014 I hate to tell you this but 16yo has a "vintage" shell-suit top that she wears as a jacket. She got it in a vair cool vintage shop and loves it Shock . I am always positive about her looks (and she usually looks amazing) but I had to really plaster the smile on when I saw it! It's turquoise with a yellow and red diagonal stripe and goes swishy-swashy swishy-swashy when she walks.
