Everyday bracelet (silver?)

Hi,

I am looking for a bracelet to wear everyday, ideally sterling silver so I can wear it in the shower or maybe even gold rose (if it has fake diamonds in it). I don't want a flexible bracelet so not one that is stiff.

Thanks!

I love this, very hard wearing and has taken plenty of knocks, but no so expensive I'm scared to wear it every day.

John Lewis have amazing ones that fit your description and no more than a tenner.

Are you prepared to clean it with a silver cloth or polish? I have a beautiful one however won't wear it anymore because of the tarnish marks.

PeteMe · 31/10/2017 19:29

I'd prefer one that didn't need cleaning.

Sorry, I meant I'd prefer one that is flexible, so one that isn't like a bangle, and it is not stiff.

Monica Vinader has lots of lovely ones, I love mine from there.

PeteMe · 31/10/2017 19:41

@chloechloe Thanks, this is gorgeous but out of my price range:

I bought mine in the sale, so if you can wait until after Christmas you may find something you like at a lower price. Fingers crossed!

What's your budget? Astley Clarke have a huge selection of bracelets ranging from plain silver, friendship type, bangles, diamonds and semi precious stones. There are a fair few under £100, this is nice and £60, no diamonds but pretty and subtle like the Monica vinader one www.astleyclarke.com/uk/rose-gold-vermeil-mini-moth-kula-bracelet-40044rnob

I’ve worn a heavy solid silver bangle continually for the last 20 years and have never cleaned it Blush it is very similar to the one posted by PP.

Anything intricate will tarnish but something smooth shouldn’t as you’ll be running it on your clothes etc.

TrollTheRespawnJeremy · 31/10/2017 23:31

Agreed if you're wearing it every day it shouldn't tarnish.

Don't go for something with the Rose plating for everyday as it will wear off.

I wear a non-branded silver bangle. It's not much to look at off but it's very effective on- good weight and not a 'designer brand' so I didn't pay over the odds for it.

If you can budget £50-150 you can get a fairly substantial non-designer bangle in silver that will last you a lifetime.

The Ashley Clark one is lovely, thanks for the link!

I like this. Pretty for £60 & helping elephants!

I have this silver tennis bracelet from Phase Eight which I bought in the sale last year.

They currently have this one in gold, which is pretty (and less than £20).

Thanks everyone, some great suggestions!

@PregnantBridesmaid That is really lovely! I like the rose gold one but worried it may wear off?

Check out Newbridge Silver. Tons and tons and pretty cheap.

I agree - Astley Clarke are the best!

How about this one - it's so elegant! But also adjustable so will defo fit:

Or this one is cute because you can engrave it too :)

@missmagpie1962 Are you on commission from them?
