Can I rock this coat?

Have wanted a long wool coat for forever but am very short, very skint and very cool toned so most that I see are too long/too ££ and/or camel/brown colours which just don't suit me.

Found this in a charity shop this morning and think I love it. It's a very pale silvery grey which works really well with my colouring.

My style is quite eccentric retro/80's so the relaxed fit and lack of fastenings really appeal to that.

Would wear with jeans/jumpers or dresses and tights with either Dr martens or brogues. Was thinking some colourful scarves could add interest?

Silently it was £13 which is a lot more than I would usually spend in a charity shop but it really spoke to me .

And even though it's a brand I've never heard of and can't find online, it appears to be really good quality.

It looks great on you and from what you say will suit your style perfectly. I don't think you need scarves to 'add interest'.

And yes, how much did you pay for it? I love a bit of charity shop porn too.

That's a definite hit! I do think it'd look better shorter-I don't think a seamstress would charge much to hem it but if you're happy with the length then it's great!

The length is a huge part of why I love it retainer. I have lots of shorter coats but they never feel like 'me' unless they're a) leopard print faux fur or b) leather bikers. I was actively looking for a long one .

There was a beautiful dark brown 1970's one as well but it was literally ankle length on me and I looked like a child playing dress up 😂.
