I need a smart(ish) jumper that can be worn with trousers or jeans. Any thoughts on this one? Not overly exciting but OK I think?

I would advise you to avoid sugarhill altogether

Wilburissomepig · 17/10/2017 18:59

I like it

Absolutely no one would call me fashionable though

Wilburissomepig · 17/10/2017 20:02

Nor me Witty, I thought it was OK but now need to know what's wrong with Sugarhill!? I've never heard of them anyway.

I like it.

ItsAHardKn0ckLife1 · 17/10/2017 20:08

I think it’s a little bit “pyjama top” like. Sorry!

FAkenameforthis · 17/10/2017 20:10

There are better jumpers. It’s fine but I think you could fine smarter ones if that’s what you want.

MulhuddartDrive · 17/10/2017 20:12

No idea about the brand but I like it.

ItsLikeRainOnYourWeddingDay · 17/10/2017 20:14

Love it!

CantChoose · 17/10/2017 20:16

I also like it. I’m intrigued by the cryptic anti sugar hill message too, I’ve never heard of them. Please elaborate witty!!

Bombardier25966 · 17/10/2017 20:18

It's nice, but I wouldn't pay more than £20 for it.

MozzchopsThirty · 17/10/2017 20:45

I agree it’s like a pyjama top and not smart looking at all

Have you tried uniqlo, jack wills, Zara, mango??

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/10/2017 20:49

I like it. I take it by 'smart' you mean 'as opposed to a hoodie or scruffy thing stolen from dh, which I wish to sling on with jeans' rather than 'dressed up to the nines'?

HolyShet · 17/10/2017 20:51

for £50?

nah

Justgivemesomepeace · 17/10/2017 20:52

I actually really like it. I would never spend £50 on a jumper though no matter how much I liked it.

WhataHexIgotinto · 17/10/2017 22:12

I like it. Smile

InvisibleKittenAttack · 18/10/2017 06:38

I have heard that sugar hill things don't tend to wash very well for their price. For £50 I should expect that to continue to look good through many washes and wears over winter.

I like it though.

WanderingTrolley1 · 18/10/2017 07:01

It's not smart, more lounge-around-at-home.

lollipop7 · 18/10/2017 07:20

£50 for something that looks like a cheap pyjama top?

Suspect you could get ten of these in Primark for that price.

Dowser · 18/10/2017 11:55

It's a no from me too.

teta · 18/10/2017 12:22

Tk maxx have cashmere snowflake jumpers for that price.I do agree it looks a bit ordinary and not very warm as it's cotton/viscose.

endehors · 18/10/2017 12:26

I think it's ok, as an everyday, casual jumper it fits the bill to wear with jeans. I was expecting some fluffy, slouchy thing from the previous posts. Grin

endehors · 18/10/2017 12:27

Never heard of Sugarhill so can't comment on quality

Paintbox · 18/10/2017 12:32

I’m not understanding the pyjama comments. Hush have their star jumpers which are really popular and not dissimilar and often praised on here. No one ever calls them
Pyjamas

FreeMeNow · 18/10/2017 12:34

It's nice, but I wouldn't pay more than £20 for it

Same here. Shop around op unless you're Ms Moneybags then get two! Grin
