What can I wear with this dress?

I love it but it's very short. It's too pretty to wear with leggings what else could I wear it with? It's navy by the way in case it's not showed up properly.

Not one yet. I bought it in the sale. Might be nice for Xmas parties. Need something for my legs it's too short with nothing but leggings look all wrong!

Can't you just wear black tights? Disclaimer: I'm in Scotland where wearing tights with everything is de rigeur.

What sort of tights? Like sheer ones? It's navy though I'm not sure they would look ok. Maybe navy tights would look alright. It's annoying. Wish dress was a bit longer!

Then wear it with nude tights. Navy tights look awful imo. Only nude or black tights should ever be worn.

I think black tights would clash hideously with navy dress.

I don't get what's so bad about navy tights with a navy dress. If it's short wear opaque navy tights - beige ones will not help in any way as it's essentially like having bare legs...

I'd wear navy tights and navy ankle boots. In fact I'm wearing that to work today.

Leggings and jeans are the best decision in this case :) You should only choose the colour for them which will fit the dress.
Also if I were you, I would wear with them nice leather pants but I know that not all people like them :)

You could wear with coloured tights ? I know not every one likes them but you can get in nearly every colour i used to have a dark purple pair i wore alot. Other option uf you dont want to wear tights or leggings is take to dress maker and ask them to make it longer ?

Opaque black tights, high heeled ankle boots. I think I have a similar navy dress and have styled it similarly.

I’m not getting all the hate for navy tights either I really like the dress and I’d wear it with some 60-80 den navy tights (thick but not completely leggings ish) and some black velvet block heeled boots or shoes.

I'd go for thick black tights (Primark do a fab 200 denier that are perfect for things like this) and then wear with tan/taupe coloured ankle boots with a chunky heel
