Hi Mums,

Although my mother taught me about personal hygiene make up was a no no so I never learnt about a beauty routine and as I had lived with out it for so long I Lgot used to it, however I've reached the big50 and lack of care is showing. Does anyone know of a book I could buy that shows a complete routine all in one place. Thanks

Have a read through these to get you started. There are more cheat sheets on the right hand side of the home page, second link.

Rather than a book which is a kind of one-size-fits-all approach, you may be better off asking on here for people to post their beauty regimes. What works for them or doesn’t, and try and get a few of the recommended products to try out until you find what suits you

And once you have spent days reading through her rather addictive site then have a read of this, which personally revolutionised my skin care routine.

It is a case of trial and error with products but also have a look at products from the The Ordinary website which are very popular at the moment and not too speedy
