I think I love them but objectively could do with objective opinions as they are a very £££ purchase

Work - shirt with flats

Firstly, you have a fabulous figure. Envy

I’m not a huge fan of the colour, I must admit. I think they’d be more flattering in black (they’re not unflattering in the wine colour, though).

If you love them, keep them! Cost per wear will probably make them worthwhile.

lalaloopyhead · 29/09/2017 13:17

Just read the other thread and came looking for pics!

They do look lovely.

I am not so keen on the shorter top though in the first picture as it looks like they are bunching/creasing at the top of your legs. They definitely look better with the longer jacket/cardi option.

If you love them keep them!

BritabroadinAsia · 29/09/2017 13:19

They look great on you. Excellent choice.

Where are the leopard print flats from?

clausthefish · 29/09/2017 13:19

Just to agree with lala on the top comment. I’d definitely stick with longline pieces on top to avoid the creases being visible.

missfliss · 29/09/2017 13:20

Thanks ladies . It's really nice of you to take the time.
I do really like the wine colour to be honest - I look a bit harsh in all black ( my pleather ones are black)

I know what you mean about bunching - I think with a long jacket it'd be fine ( or longer tops )

The flats are M&S last year

really like them dressed up with the cami & prefer them with the long top & boots to the short top & flats. I think flats will look better if worn with the cardi etc. Love the burgundy colour too.

clausthefish · 29/09/2017 13:36

Yes I get where you’re coming from with the black = harsh. Keep them and enjoy them; they look great on you.

lovingmatleave · 29/09/2017 13:39

Yup def keep them. Look very polished and sophisticated on. Agree with the short top comments. A topwith a bit of tartan coming down like on the Baujken website would like nice too.

mowgeli · 29/09/2017 13:44

Keep 😍

Floisme · 29/09/2017 13:49

Ok dissenting voice here. You have a great figure and you can certainly carry them off far better than I ever could but I still don't like that leather sheen. They all have it and I think it's absolutely pitiless on the thighs. But bear in mind I'm not a fan of them generally for that reason.

I like them best dressed down with that long cardigan.

I think the colour's good.

Feel free to ignore me.

botemp · 29/09/2017 14:00

Sorry, another dissenting voice. Admittedly, I've never tried the Baukjens but I've tried and own plenty of others. It's not fitting right in the crotch area and over time that will be unflattering. I think with your shape you're probably better off with a version that has a zipper in the front (jeans style) or possibly an invisible one on the bum.

Somerville · 29/09/2017 14:05

They don't look like a superb fit, though it's hard to tell from photos. I second (third?) to try to different style.

Somerville · 29/09/2017 14:08

And I don't mean by that, that they look bad. Certainly not. But neither, IMO, do they look absolutely fantastic, and at the price, I think they should.
There will be a design, for someone slim and trim like you, that does look amazing.

silkpyjamasallday · 29/09/2017 14:52

I think all your outfits you've put together with them look lovely, keep them OP! I don't think they look badly fitting at all, real leather will mould to your shape as you wear them anyway. Also love the colour, I have two black pairs of leather leggings and trousers and they can be a bit meh, the wine colour you've got makes them far more interesting.

Nettletheelf · 29/09/2017 15:16

I'm not feeling the leopard flats. I like the purple colour though. They look best in your 'going out' outfit.

Piccolino2 · 29/09/2017 15:20

I really like them with all the outfits and shoes but not sure if they look a bit odd at the crotch, might just be the photo/angle etc.

Love the colour, might be worth ordering a different brand to be able to compare fit. You need to keep a pair though, they look great on you!

Bluntness100 · 29/09/2017 15:25

I think they are nice but I am not a fan of the colour, I’m sorry. I suspect it’s one of those marmite colours you either love or hate.

PandorasXbox · 29/09/2017 15:27

I don't think they flatter your lovely figure at all sorry.

missfliss · 29/09/2017 16:25

Wow. A lot to think about - thankyou every body for all your opinions . Very grateful for the honesty and diplomacy

AnnabelleLecter · 29/09/2017 16:30

I like the colour. Not sure if they look a bit big on you. I like the tux outfit pic best.

JesusTapdancingChrist · 29/09/2017 16:33

I'm torn.

They look nice. You look great. I like the colour. But they don't look like they fit you perfectly and for that amount of £££ I would want something that looked like it was made to fit my body to perfection. They look a wee bit wrinkly.

verite · 29/09/2017 16:43

I love them with the long top. However I am not so keen with the shorter top. I have these in navy and brown and I do wear a longer top to cover the crotch. But then I would always wear a longer top with normal leggings as well. Love the colour though.
