Honest opinions on this dress wanted

It's for my best friends wedding next summer - I like to be organized! I'm 47 so not massively found of showing my upper arms, size 12, and 5'7''. The dress is a lot longer on me, it just about covers my knees, and fits perfectly. So, honest opinions please!

I personally don't think it looks dressy enough for a wedding, sorry.

Overall I like it. To be honest I think it could go any way on a person depending on their shape, style, haircut and accessories. But it could look excellent.

It's a bit...meh for your best friend's wedding.

Hmmm. OK, back to the drawing board then! I was seduced by the price I think!

I got this as well, not for the wedding obviously, but it is so flattering on and such a bargain if anybody is on the lookout for holiday clothes. Yes its man made fibres, but the material is quite thick and falls beautifully!

I liked the dark colour one OP but not the lighter one.

What colouring are you? I think both are a little bit ordinary?

2nd one looks a bit wishy washy. Would prefer the 1st option

Same height and dress size as me - would make me look shapeless around the middle so I would be steering clear of that style as it would make me look fatter than I am..

It's a no from me. The dark coloured one is slightly better however that's about the best I can say.

The Great Plains looks like a potato bag. Shapless.

I don't really like either OP, sorry I know that's not very helpful! In my opinion they manage to make their own model look a bit frumpy and washed out X

Im sorry but there's nothing to it and not suitable for a wedding.

The way you describe yourself I think you could get away with anything Dress wise so go for it and buy something that says Wow!

Why are you buying so far in advance? Will you wear it for any other occasion in the meantime?

I like it but (and I'm same as you) I think it will come too short (unless you've got great legs) and the fabric looks stiff. Why not get something made for you?

I would save up, go swimming for my arms and buy this.

It's really not that bad ! With some nice contrasting colour shoes and bag it could be quite glam ! If you are unsure about it then keep it as a just in case !

I would wear it with flip flops or sneakers...it's a kind of day sightseeing holiday dress to me.

I really love the dark one. I think it's very elegant for a wedding.
