Honest opinions on this dress wanted

It's for my best friends wedding next summer - I like to be organized! I'm 47 so not massively found of showing my upper arms, size 12, and 5'7''. The dress is a lot longer on me, it just about covers my knees, and fits perfectly. So, honest opinions please!

Omg. I bought this last week. Would NOT recommend. The lining is sort of rustled sounding and the dress has no give at all. I thought it would be jumper dress like, it's not. It is bag shaped. The length is weird on me. The colour is not like the picture, it is sort of coffee cream. I bought it to wear with thick tights and boots and wouldn't wear it at all.

It's bloody awful on me. You can have it if you still want it. For postage only.

I think it looks a bit like a nightie!

fourpawswhite · 27/09/2017 19:17

Oh man, I just read back and see you have it and yours does fit lovely. Sorry I Thought you hadn't bought it yet. I wonder why mine is so weird then. I keep looking back at the picture and thinking I love it but what I have is nothing like it at all. The lining on mine is like plastic sounding.

Really really don't like it. Defo to casual for a wedding I think

BubblesBuddy · 27/09/2017 21:08

I do not understand why posters think lined organza is casual and cheap! It is not. The grey is elegant. It would be too short for me but with heels and good legs it would be great. I do love the Jigsaw dress though.

MiniTheMinx · 27/09/2017 21:15

The dress looks lovely from the front but from the back, it looks really cheap. The pattern is big enough that it needs to be matched at the seam. It looks terrible. Sorry. I would wear it with sandals in the day, but I couldn't wear it to a wedding.

Just a couple or suggestions that I think are more wedding like and are reasonably priced.
