2017 seems to have lots of metallic boots love them but not sure the will love larger feet on over 40?

YES! I want some. Also well over 40 but average feet.

I am well over 40 and have size 9 feet. I wear silver Cons and silver brogues. Ankle injury prevents me from wearing heels.

I love the silver Doc Martens that are out at the moment. I don't know how or what on earth i would wear them with but I really fancy getting a pair.

I tried on the silver / iridescenty Docs about 6 months ago and can't get them out of my head

I am mid forty 40s, and am bored out of ny mind with sensible shoes or stupid pointy toe high heeled shoes.

A block heel silver shoe or boot sounds great

Someone was wearing GLITTER boots at a party last night and they fab and I wondered why I am not wearing more like this, just stuck in the mud with style.

I love the river island ones. Not to sound like your mum, but be careful about the amount of padding they have on the ball of the feet. I've had some cheap boots and they're agony after an hour

I have gold glitter ankle boots but they're cheap ones and they scratch my ankles. Always get (positive!) comments when I wear them. I also have gold glitter trainers.

I just nipped the Dr Marten site, they have some beautiful boots. I haven't worn them since my 20s, but don't know if I am brave enough to wear the unicorn boots, but love the white temperly boots they are very special

there were some v cool &other stories ones a couple of winters ago. did covet.

I find high beam too much for day to day, I love benefit girl meets pearl, subtle enough for every day and much easier to blend and apply.

I've just got a pair of silver trainers I love them. They are surprisingly easy to wear. Don't need to tone down outfits or dress up to wear them.

I've got some gorgeous pewter boots I bought a decade ago. The shape is a long way from fashionable (pointy with kitten heels) but what the hell, the first sighting of the words "new Metallics trend" in a headline has me sprinting to the cupboard to drag them out again.

I'm thinking how nice they'll be in the darker afternoons and evenings sparkling in the streetlights. They'll cheer things up.

Really comfy and not too in your face glittery. I wear them with black skinnies to work with a blazer.

I bought dd the silver DM boots for her birthday and she is really disappointed by how quickly and easily they scuff. And you can't polish the scuffs out.
Would not have bought them at that price if we had known this.
