On the recommendation of another thread thought I'd check out the New Look curve range. What in the world is this? Can you imagine wearing it out!

A lace pelmet????

NachoAddict · 16/09/2017 17:20

That is absolutely awful l.

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 16/09/2017 17:21

It looks like she's got a net curtain caught in her boobs. I couldn't wear that - my DH (let alone my DCs) is very immature and would spend the whole time trying to pull it. Plus he probably wouldn't want to be seen in public with me

thewideeyedpea · 16/09/2017 17:21

Good God. That is shockingly hideous.
Whatever it is.

chancerprancer · 16/09/2017 17:22

It's a 2 in 1 'bralet t-shirt' apparently. Who knew that was a thing!

FlaviaAlbia · 16/09/2017 17:25

My SIL has that, she looks really good in it though she is tiny so looks good in most things...

It would ridiculous on me but she can carry it off. It looks terrible on the model though.

YesILikeItToo · 16/09/2017 17:27

Surely the idea is that you wear it without the grey t shirt underneath? It's just a bit of bedroom frippery. I think.

Battyoldbat · 16/09/2017 17:27

Fuck me that's hideous.
Someone at new look is obviously on here and saw all the posts the pink m&s monstrosity got and has taken it as a challenge to go one better. There can't be any other explanation

Battyoldbat · 16/09/2017 17:30

You'd think but no - here's the backview..it's just a grey t shirt with a bit of lace sewn on the front

YesILikeItToo · 16/09/2017 17:31
Shock
chancerprancer · 16/09/2017 17:32

No, yesILikeittoo it's actually attached and doesn't continue round to the back. I think that's what's disturbing about it - it looks like it should be for bedroom frippery but then you've eccentrically worn it out and about on top of an unflattering old grey T-shirt...

chancerprancer · 16/09/2017 17:32

Oops cross post!

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 16/09/2017 17:32

Is like a superhero 'wear your underwear on the outside' type thing?

I'd really rather not.

FlaviaAlbia · 16/09/2017 17:33

Oh, I just read the OP properly Blush it's in the curve range too. Yeah, not flattering on curves and the jeans/leggings paired with it are not a good combination...

GinandGingerBeer · 16/09/2017 17:52

Handy if anyone has an upcoming fancy dress and fancies going as a lamp shade.

OhHolyFuck · 16/09/2017 18:01

Even those models eyes are screaming "get this fucking thing off me"...

ZaraW · 16/09/2017 18:12

That is truly awful nobody could make that look good.

VeryPunny · 16/09/2017 19:16

Next time people slag of M&S I shall point them to this thread!

VeryPunny · 16/09/2017 19:16

Of = off, obviously...

JessiCake · 16/09/2017 19:19

Oh gosh that's absolutely horrifying

OlennasWimple · 16/09/2017 19:21

No, just no

Bluntness100 · 16/09/2017 19:24

That's just daft looking.Grin

RubyGoat · 16/09/2017 19:27

I can only presume that high street shops are now charging so little for their clothes that they cannot afford to employ proper clothes designers.

I really thought that perhaps we'd seen the worst of it with the M&S blancmange dress but no, new lows have been discovered. It's equally funny & depressing.

Queenofthedrivensnow · 16/09/2017 19:29

It's not even flattering

Timefortea99 · 16/09/2017 19:31

That is quite possibly the silliest and hideous fashion trend I have ever seen.

That, and those hideous furry mule things....
