So now I need an A line skirt in a beautiful bold print which I can wear with a black top

WHICH I CAN BUY IN A SHOP BEFORE SATURDAY

wear your zebra dress?

[tetch averted by well-placed canape]

PrincessPeaHead · 04/04/2007 22:12

well I've only clicked on the first 8 or so links on this thread, but I'm channelling my old 'cello teacher so deeply I just have to stop.

That is NOT a good thing. She was called Carol, she wore clompy zip up boots that couldn't zip up because her calves were too fat, she had Nana Mouskouri glasses, and she told me that she'd never received a valentines card in her life. She must have been around 40.

harpsichordcarrier · 04/04/2007 22:12

I think this may have already been posted but I can't see for the life of me see what is wrong with it

PrincessPeaHead · 04/04/2007 22:13

oh my god that purple one from debenhams is so revolting I feel faint.

LOOK at it, girls, just OPEN YOUR EYES!

Say NO to Carol!

MrsBadger · 04/04/2007 22:13

£2 over budget [smack]

hunkermunker · 04/04/2007 22:13

not this one

harpsichordcarrier · 04/04/2007 22:14

green

harpsichordcarrier · 04/04/2007 22:14

hunker that is truly truly vile.

FrannyandZooey · 04/04/2007 22:15

Turquoise I like

Aitch I cannot get new shoes as well

the top one so far is HC's Monsoon one but it is too expensive and I don't love it

I may go and try it on, though

PrincessPeaHead · 04/04/2007 22:15

VOILA!
and only £510 over budget

MrsBadger · 04/04/2007 22:15

(She has teal shoes, you know, aitch)

hunkermunker · 04/04/2007 22:15

I know Harpsi. That's why I said "not this one"

Boco · 04/04/2007 22:16

Just wear a dress?

hunkermunker · 04/04/2007 22:16

Botanical skirt

FrannyandZooey · 04/04/2007 22:16

Yes these skirts are frumpy aren't they? Am I frumpy? Do I exude essence de frump?

OP posts:
PrincessPeaHead · 04/04/2007 22:16

oh god harpsi that principles one is VILE VILE VILE as well.

what is the matter with you all? is this some sort of mass hysteria going on that you all think these skirts are acceptable?

hunkermunker · 04/04/2007 22:17

That botanical one seems to have a cock motif around the bottom of it.

Cock round yer bottom - perfect partywear!

[gutter]

lucykate · 04/04/2007 22:17

franny, i still like your skirt of great beauty. it was the brown one i liked the best.

i may actually still order it when we get back from hols. i am short with rather peachy butt cheeks so hopefully it won't fall down if the design is loose on the hips.

harpsichordcarrier · 04/04/2007 22:17

pph I am desparate love
hunker STEP AWAY FROM THE ST MICHAEL COUNTER

PrincessPeaHead · 04/04/2007 22:18

oh barf hunker, that cut out crap really takes the biscuit...

FrannyandZooey · 04/04/2007 22:18

Someone tell me why I shouldn't wear this

Mrs B I would not fit that zebra dress now

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 04/04/2007 22:18

I can't, Harpsi. It's like car crash fashion.

Carcrashion, if you will.

PrincessPeaHead · 04/04/2007 22:18

doesn't anyone like my temperley skirt?

it is JUST what she is looking for....

now to find a knock off for £40

harpsichordcarrier · 04/04/2007 22:19

FrannyandZooey · 04/04/2007 22:19
