Hush?

One question really. Is it worth it?
I just got catalogue in the post. Their stuff looks really lovely.
Is it worth the 80 to 120 for a jumper.
Who can afford this stuff.
I earn 50k a year and husband similar and still not sure I can feel justified spending that much....
thoughts?

Have you seen the other Hush thread? Grin

PNGirl · 11/09/2017 20:57

No, it isn't. Unless it's pyjamas or a particular item that comes recommended. Most on here will tell you 50% of it shrank or went bobbly and the brand sells because has a good photoshoot stylist.

intelligentPutty · 11/09/2017 21:10

Yeah. Thought as much. If only I looked as beautiful as the model.
I'll look for the other thread.
Thanks.

Hmmm. I bought the stripey jumper last season. It's barely left my body (indeed I'm wearing it now). It hasn't shrunk in the wash. It's not bobbly.

The jersey dresses are very versatile and low-maintenance.

It's odd. A lot of their clothes are very simple-seeming, which makes you think "Well, what's so special about that?" but that's the point, really. The clothes are a kind of simple but very effective that a lot of other clothes-sellers don't do.

That said, some of the clothing does make me think Hmm - but I guess that's just an example of how we all have personal likes and dislikes.

Suzietwo · 11/09/2017 21:25

I get on with it. The washed joggers are fleece lined and well cut. I love the boyfriend jeans. The sweatshirts are very comfortable. The long vest tops are good quality and great for layering.

I'm less keen on the dresses and don't like many of the prints. I think the formal/work wear is over priced.

intelligentPutty · 11/09/2017 21:29

Ooh. Now I'm thinking I will take a proper look then. Even one piece a month is fair isn't it? I really like the simple style and as you say @thecatfromjapan this is why I like it.
Thanks.
Catalogue not quite made it to bin yet ..... ;)

Heres the ongoing Hush AW17 Thread .Lots of recommends there!

Arealhumanbeing · 12/09/2017 02:41

Before you order take note of what the item is made of.

I nearly spent £130 on a jumper that is 44% nylon.
