Best hand cream?

BlueIsYou · 06/09/2017 18:02

No other part of my skin is ever dry and it's always lovely and soft.

But recently my hands have become incredibly chapped and sore! I tried one by Soap and Glory and it stung Sad

Any ideas?

I do use sun beds so maybe it's that catching up with me now. Never had this issue before.

J&E Atkinson I Colonial is the best hand cream I have ever used

BlueIsYou · 06/09/2017 18:06

Nana thanks, where's that from?

Body Shop hemp hand cream. Do fab hemp lip balm too. .

Nanasueathome · 06/09/2017 18:07

I bought my last one from Amazon but I have seen it in bigger M&S beauty halls as well

Abetes · 06/09/2017 18:09

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula. It's not sexy or trendy but it definitely does the trick

cowgirlsareforever · 06/09/2017 18:09

Body Shop Hemp Cream is the best for very chapped hands.

sortingmyselfoutslowly · 06/09/2017 18:33

Another vote for Body Shop Hemp!

IheartCaptainHolt · 06/09/2017 18:39

I love burts bees grapeseed and honey hand cream

Wolfiefan · 06/09/2017 18:41

The Lidl cien sos red one is just like neutrogena. They're the only two that work for me.
Gloves in a bottle is good. It's not a hand cream but a barrier lotion. Stops more moisture coming out of your hands.

Blackandpurple · 06/09/2017 18:44

Aveeno

FlavaFlav · 06/09/2017 19:17

I'm currently using O'Keefes after Neutrogena didn't work any more on my terrible skin. I find Aveeno makes them very dry.

OlennasWimple · 06/09/2017 19:19

Clarins anti-aging hand cream is lovely (but not cheap)

AngeloMysterioso · 06/09/2017 19:21

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour hand cream. Lovely stuff.

BoreOfWhabylon · 06/09/2017 19:21

Niveq Q10 is really lovely. Better than many high-end ones.

Seachangeshell · 06/09/2017 19:21

Atrixo intensive - the green pot. Really cheap too.

BoreOfWhabylon · 06/09/2017 19:21

Nivea not Niveq

Butterfly1975 · 06/09/2017 19:27

L'Occitane Shea hand cream is amazing. I also love this one which I recently found in Waitrose beegood.co.uk/products/honey-hand-cream

Bath House hand cream is gorgeous although rather pricey! www.thebathhouseshop.com

BS hemp is really good too but I just can't bear the smell of it Blush

Saurus72 · 06/09/2017 19:28

I've been using this every night and it's really good - especially when I wear cotton gloves to sleep in too. www.kiehls.co.uk/body/category/body-moisturisers/intensive-treatment-and-moisturizer-for-dry-or-callused-areas/295.html#start=7&cgid=body-hand-creams

Expensive but lasts ages - about 6 months with daily use.

thisismee · 06/09/2017 19:29

Another vote for clarins. It's lovely.

Comedyusername · 06/09/2017 19:36

I really like Nivea Rescue & Care Hand Balm when I suffer from dry and sore hands. Pretty reasonable price too

barefoofdoctor · 06/09/2017 19:52

Another huge fan of Lizzie Arden 8 hour hand cream. Best I've used.

upsiedayz · 06/09/2017 20:18

I also like body shop hemp, it's not greasy but really moisturising

LetZygonsbeZygones · 07/09/2017 00:04

Yet another vote for body shop hemp. And I adore the smell. So fresh, grassy and clean (well to my nose anyhow)

burnishedsilver · 07/09/2017 06:45

Dry hands is the least of your skin worries if you're using sun beds.

I like neals yard hand cream from M&S.

BlueIsYou · 07/09/2017 07:16

Thanks all - in the end I went with The Body Shop -Hemp.

I remember my Mum using it when I was a child. She always had a tube on the side of the kitchen sink and in her handbag Grin
