No other part of my skin is ever dry and it's always lovely and soft.

But recently my hands have become incredibly chapped and sore! I tried one by Soap and Glory and it stung Sad

Any ideas?

I do use sun beds so maybe it's that catching up with me now. Never had this issue before.

I love the Avon Glycerin one or the Soap and Glory Hand Food is really really good, sorted out my chapped bits in days.

Alternating between Diprobase cream from the chemist and Aveeno shea butter. I have very dry hands and feet that crack, split and the skin peels every few months. Tis horrible, but the two above are the only things that help.

Body Shop Hemp Hand cream really irritated my skin so I personally wouldn't recommend it.

The best I've found so far has been Avon's Olive Oil hand cream. Every year I get a rash on the backs of my hands around May-September and I used it loads last year and it disappeared. This year I used it preemptively and I didn't get it at all. I can't recommend it enough.

Aveeno Intensive is the only hand cream that keeps my hands soft all day. Use it morning and night and no longer have to carry hand cream round with me

In that case try 'my trusty' it's available in Superdrug. Formulated by the NHS, fine for eczema, no parabens or other irritants. The lavender one smells amazing.

I've tried pretty much all creams on the market as suffer badly. In winter my skin splits open and bleeds.
The best, surprisingly, is Palmers Coconut oil hand cream. It's only about £2.50 but it's think and effective and soothing.
Many creams claim to be thick and super moisturising but you can tell that's a lie because open the bottle, squeeze gently and you see how runny it is. Good quality cream is thick and gooey.
