URGENT needed for Sunday! Dress code white & a hint of gold

HELP!!! Truly desperate! DH has just phoned to say we've been ordered invited to his super wealthy boss's house for party at the weekend. Think really really wealthy, blinged up to the nines. Saying no is not an option.

I have nothing in my wardrobe that meets this dress code. Nothing. I have fortunately just lost weight, and am about a size 12 maybe 14, 5'8", blonde hair, mid-50s. I've looked everywhere online for something white that I could put a little gold on - eg., jewellery, sandals whatever. So far, the only thing I've found that doesn't look like a lace dress (hate those), or a wedding dress, is this jumpsuit. What do you think? Do a gradual tan over the next couple of days so I don't look like a ghost, or does someone (oh God please) have some other suggestions. Willing to pay up to £400.

It's in the south of France, just to ramp up the looking good pressure.

I love the outfit, the Diane f dress was my favourite and the shoes match perfectly, do post pics!

The Diane von Furstenberg dress is really lovely.

The party was AMAZING!! Held in a beautiful villa on the coast, with a band, a support act and then a world class singer who we all know, as in really and truly, we all know him, and have done for the last 25 years. Having to be v discreet about this, as this wasn't the sort of event that goes on social media.

There were 2 marquees - not your wedding type - in the garden, 2 stages, far too much champagne being poured, great food, and they sat me next to someone who used to own a Formula 1 team. Poor man, being sat next to me - but I chatted away to him, and we fell back on the usual safe topic of our children.

I was really happy how my dress looked, I had a not-so-perfect up-do (a bit too Bridget Macron for my taste) but it was OK, and I borrowed some Swarovski drop earrings from a friend that were white-ish and rose gold. Some of the dresses there were clearly couture (and gorgeous), and everyone - including some of the men - were wearing white. So glad I asked for your advice, as I felt I really got the dress right. My feet were killing me by the end of the evening, but it was perhaps a little foolish to have danced for so long in such high heels....

So here's the photos from before we left the hotel, with my face sort of scribbled out.....(and you can't really see that the back of the dress is a little longer than the front, but it was the best that DH could do).

Thank you again!!
