Can I just rave for a moment about Oliver Bonas?

Just such pretty things. In pretty colours! And modern styles! And nice, good quality fabrics! And a sale which meant I have just spent 200ish quid and bought about 12 things!

I mean, look at this shirt. LOOK HOW PRETTY IT IS. www.oliverbonas.com/fashion/loa-shirt-49052#selection=size:14__366

I know Hmm

It's my closest fucking clothes shop, full of wondrous bastardy things

THAT DONT GO UP TO MY SIZE

So I console myself by buying scarves and fucking glasses with copper cunting bottoms

Fuck you Bonas, you lovely shop

pandarific · 27/08/2017 12:38

Gah how annoying!

And also jewellery. Don't forget the jewellery. SWOON.

Love OB. Especially now that they've stopped making everything about 3 inches too short this season Smile

Fosterdog123 · 27/08/2017 14:35

LOVE their clothes.

Juicylucy1800 · 27/08/2017 14:37

Love Oliver bonas too , does anyone know of similar brands ?

CinderellasBroom · 27/08/2017 14:38

How do the sizes come up? I'm a 10 in most shops but an 8 in some, and the T-shirt I'm looking at says 'relaxed fit'. I don't want it to be baggy, do they usually run big or small?

SunnyCoco · 27/08/2017 14:43

Cinderella I think they come up big. I'm a 12-14 and bought a jumper from there in 'relaxed fit' and the size 10 was bang on

CinderellasBroom · 27/08/2017 14:50

Brilliant, I'll go for the 8, then. Thanks!

Not exactly the same, but a few similar boutiques I personally like are below:

www.nookidesign.com/ - lovely things, very sophisticated -hammered silk cape anyone?
www.feverdesigns.co.uk/ - quite vintage-style
www.joythestore.com/ - stocks some nice small brands, amongst them Louche, which is quite Oliver Bonas-y

It's my favourite! They need a petite range though.

TashieWoo · 27/08/2017 19:57

I love it too, might have to have a look at the sale Smile

As for other shops, & Other Stories is fairly similar in style and price.

foodiefil · 27/08/2017 19:59

I think they're lovely too 😊

Fekko · 27/08/2017 19:59

It's hit and miss though - I bought a lovely wool dress that bobbled like mad on the bum the first time I wore it, but also have a dress and skirt that people comment on (both with pockets!!!). They also do the Korres shower stuff that ds loves in multipacks cheaper than the supermarket.

explodingkittens · 27/08/2017 20:07

I love OB too, I'm always surprised that they hardly get a mention round the S&B threads. Every time I go in there I find something I love; their stuff is well-made, quirky enough to be interesting but still really easy to wear.

CinderellasBroom · 27/08/2017 20:13

I find the shop very offputting (too many different things) but searching by size in the sale bit of the website was much better. I agree with needing a petite range, though, if the smallest size is an 8 and they come up big.

MulhuddartDrive · 27/08/2017 20:27

There goes €77 I didn't need to spend good job I sent something else back today Hmm

ocelot41 · 27/08/2017 20:38

Thanks for drawing my attention to it - some nice stuff there! Will check out their autumn range

ocelot41 · 27/08/2017 20:42

Just adding a quick punt for Ness - awesome quality for the money. I am after this sweater www.ness.co.uk/rosalie-jumper-slate-rose-thistle-13535

LadyPenelopeCantDance · 27/08/2017 20:46

Love their home stuff too! Always my go to for gifts.

Strummerville · 27/08/2017 20:52

Never heard of this shop, but thanks to you OP I found this lovely bag! Yay Grin

Juicylucy1800 · 28/08/2017 11:27

Thanks Pand !

wizzywig · 28/08/2017 11:29

Thank god, a bonas appreciation thread! There are always sales around the corner with them.

DandelionAndBedrock · 28/08/2017 11:45

I find their tops too short in the body, but agree that they are beautiful. A bit like a more colourful version of Cos.

SylviaPoe · 28/08/2017 11:59

The knitwear is viscose though.
