Is it worth getting for those that bought it? Was all out of stock for so long and now back in.

And anything else for dry, reactive skin ?

ThanksSmile

Hi dame Grin I bought it of course.
I went for the coverage rather than serum. It's OK. Wayne Goss had a pretty good run down of the colours which helped. I got 2.0 yg which was comparable to ysl b45. I also bought 2.1 which was mad and made me look like a minion, very yellow.
It's a fine every day no nonsense product but I wouldn't repurchase, I like glow this is very matt. What have you got to lose though? I waited for ages for mine to arrive and was a bit underwhelmed after all the fuss.

Maudlinmaud · 22/08/2017 15:42

And I'm a dry dehydrated picture of loveliness.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 22/08/2017 15:49

Hmmmm,it lived up to its name then?Wink

OP posts:
Maudlinmaud · 22/08/2017 15:58

Exactly. But some people are raving about it. At the moment I'm just swirling a bit of bronzer over some facial tanner but I'll try it again properly when I get back to work.
For £6 it's worth having a play.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 22/08/2017 16:19

I think I'm a 2.0 P shade...

OP posts:
DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 22/08/2017 16:22

Oh,maybe a 1.2P according to Reddit/Wayne Goss...

OP posts:
Maudlinmaud · 22/08/2017 16:27

I think it oxidises too, so if I was going to choose another colour I would pick lighter.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 22/08/2017 16:29

Oh ok , I'll try 1.2 then.

Did you try any other stuff?

OP posts:
Maudlinmaud · 22/08/2017 16:52

No I didn't. But I'm tempted by the skin care. Truth be told I'm a total novice at that, routinely just buy what the clarins counter tell me to. What are you thinking?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 22/08/2017 16:57

The hyorolonic (sp?) acid.

OP posts:
Maudlinmaud · 22/08/2017 17:01

Hopefully somebody comes on and helps you, I want to know about that too Grin

PhyllisWig · 22/08/2017 17:41

Found the foundation ok (had the serum one).

Not a fan of the hydrolonic (sp too!) acid as I found it sticky and couldn't see a change. Loved some of the other stuff and know others rated it.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 22/08/2017 18:07

What was the other stuff you ordered Phyllis?

OP posts:
Fishfingersandwich9 · 22/08/2017 21:20

I ordered both and was very disappointed. I was on the original waiting lists and totally bought into the hype. It's not bad but no better than other cheaper foundations available at Superdrug in my opinion. I found the serum foundation very light coverage and a bit streaky and the coverage version was reasonable at first, but as others say it oxides and also broke me out in spots (contains silicone).

Fishfingersandwich9 · 22/08/2017 21:21

I would add though that I am a massive fan of their tower skincare products, which also added to the disappointment as I had high hopes!

Maudlinmaud · 22/08/2017 22:08

@Fishfingersandwich9 are you the poster who reviews products on yt? If so I'm subscribed and enjoy your videos. Apologies if I have you mixed up.

WhatEaglesWear · 22/08/2017 22:16

It's ok as a foundation, not as good as Dior or Estée Lauder IMO.

The bottle and dispenser system are beyond dire. It blocks and clogs at the pump and the foundation comes out at such force, it has stained my bed linen and wallpaper.

I wouldn't recommend it AT ALL!

PhyllisWig · 22/08/2017 22:26

I got the buffet, niacinamide and the azeliac acid all of which I'd reorder plus the moisturising factors which was fine but maybe not reorderable.

My skin is dehydrated but a bit oily with noticeable pores. Pores hugely less visible and hormone spots/blackheads way less but still a bit of redness.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 22/08/2017 22:36

This is all really interesting especially after all the hype! Maybe I'll just order some other bits and give the foundation a miss.

I was going to buy it but changed my mind after watching this review:

www.hotandflashy50.com/foundation-friday-the-ordinary-colours-serum-coverage-foundations/

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 23/08/2017 08:36

Wow,it looks really yellow!!! Not a great review at all.

Lottapianos · 23/08/2017 11:58

I have dry dehydrated skin and I got the Serum foundation. Like others said, it's nice , gives fairly good glow but light coverage, but nothing special. It does squirt out at force and you have to be careful! I'm not sure I will repurchase

I also use the Hyaluronic acid and Matrixyl and I'm impressed with both

Fishfingersandwich9 · 23/08/2017 13:09

@maulinmaud yes that's me and thanks for the support, I'm pleased you enjoy the videos!

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 23/08/2017 18:12

Mine just arrived today, I haven't tried it yet. But I'm about the same age as the Hot and Flashy blogger, with similar but dryer skin so I'm not expecting it to be much good.

I actually went onto the site to buy some caffeine eye cream, but when I checked the ingredients it has soy oil in it so I can't use it. I bought the Hylamide Sub Q instead and bought the serum foundation on impulse. Still, it was pretty cheap so even if it's not good it won't be much of a loss.

Juicylucy1800 · 23/08/2017 18:58

I got 2.1 after doing research and deciding this was the best colour for me. It's incredibly yellow, pure yellow. It comes out of the pump looking a different colour. Awful awful awful

I recommend their skin care products , however.
