Due to a running calf injury and foot imbalance. I've never had a pair before.

What style of shoe do you find most comfortable and what fits with your lifestyle? I love them and have over 20 pairs - boots, trainers, ballerinas and flip flops. They are all really comfortable, so I would go with whatever style works best for your wardrobe. You won't regret getting them!

Wtfdoicare · 08/08/2017 13:22

Sorry! I meant to say I'll need a form of flip flop type thing as they're for a summer holiday.

20 pairs!!!

LIZS · 08/08/2017 13:26

The basic plain one is called Lulu and comes in a variety of colours and textures. There is also a cheaper flipflop but it isn't as supportive or raised. You might be lucky to find a pair in the sale on their website.

snowgirl1 · 08/08/2017 13:29

There are so many styles it really depends on your taste. I wear Fit Flop toe-thong sandals (like flip flops but thicker sole) all the time (outside work) during summer. I've also got the slide sandals, but rarely wear as I don't find them as comfortable. I've also got snow boots - but my favourites are the toe-thong sandal.

Have a look on Amazon - they usually have discounted styles so you can try a style without paying full price.

ElfrideSwancourt · 08/08/2017 13:55

@OwnLittleIsland at least 20 - I wouldn't dare count! But I have plantar fasciitis and wearing them all the time helps massively.
OP definitely go for the thicker sole style as they have a lot more support than the new (cheaper) ones.

Orangebird69 · 08/08/2017 14:01

Go for the LuLu style. Lots of different colours. Not attractive (imo) buy v comfy. I've got a few pairs. They last forever.

AvoidingCallenetics · 08/08/2017 14:03

I have the thick soled toe thong ones. They look more attractive imo if you get sparkly ones.

redexpat · 08/08/2017 14:05

I have aerosoft. I bought them under another label in india and they lasted 10 years. Got aerosoft now and they are on their second year.

Tantpoke · 08/08/2017 14:06

Yes the thick soled toe thong ones are by far my favourite. I find the sliders not great for walking great distances in so I have them as my indoor shoe.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/08/2017 14:12

I've just discovered them,I cannot tell you what a difference they've made to my poorly injured feet and ankles, but dear Lord they STINK I have never had smelly feet before!

Wtfdoicare · 08/08/2017 18:05

Thank you everyone. I've ordered some thick soled thong ones from Amazon and look forward to comfy, but stinky feet!

I've got a pair of toe thong ones that I've lived in, and best buy ever was a pair of black leather boots. We were going away to New York for 5 days and I didn't have anything so bought them the day before, much to my mums horror!! And I felt so comfy in them, we walked miles every day and no blisters or aching feet at all. I'm a convert and DH says i walk far better in them than in normal shoes. I don't find that mine smell.......

clairedunphy · 08/08/2017 18:14

Can I hijack and ask about sizing? I've got small, wide feet, normally I fit a clarks 4.5 but don't think fitflops come in half sizes?

Do people find they come up smaller or larger? Thanks.

Liz38 · 08/08/2017 18:18

I'm a massive fan of fit flops. I have the basic toe thong ones and I'm on my 4th pair. Outside work in summer I live in them and walk miles daily with no blisters or discomfort. Dh has stopped wincing at the price and now buys me new ones when the old ones disintegrate. Grin

LIZS · 08/08/2017 18:24

Claire I find they tend to come up slightly small but the size guide on the ff website is useful for each style. I live in their slippers!

JaneEyre70 · 08/08/2017 18:28

I'm a 7 and my boots are a perfect fit, but I bought a 6 in the toe thongs. They are very wide.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/08/2017 18:39

I use the guide on the website and I take a 6.5 as 7 is too big and 6 too small!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/08/2017 18:39

They do slippers???!!!

LIZS · 08/08/2017 18:40

Snugglemocs!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/08/2017 18:46

My cup runneth over!!

LIZS · 08/08/2017 18:49

Grin I've almost worn out my 3rd pair, these have lasted over 18 months, daily wear indoor and out!

clairedunphy · 08/08/2017 19:26

Thanks for the size responses, I'll take a look at the size guide.

Shantasia · 08/08/2017 20:39

I really really wanted a pair of the sneakers because they look so comfy but they come up at least half a size small. I'm a 42 and ended up with terrible blisters.

I'm sticking to the glittery flip flops which are so clumpy and glittery they make my enormous feet look surprisingly dainty inside.
