I've been instructed to wear Fit Flops. What should I get?

Due to a running calf injury and foot imbalance. I've never had a pair before.

I've just ordered a pair of Fitflops for £29 in their sale as a result of this thread. Fingers crossed I find them as fab as everyone else does (back pain and minor scoliosis).

John Lewis have some in their clearance under Sports and Leisure

Well I ended up getting the Fitflop Aztec Chada, the thong between the toes ones. I wore them for 30 mins walking yesterday and they've ripped between my toes to shreds! I am gutted. I am fine with normal Havaina type flip flops.

Do I need to send them back?

I had to wear mine for about two weeks around the house before I even ventured outside then suddenly they were comfortable. I can't wear the toe post ones though only the slide sort. I think half an hour walking straight off was a touch ambitious.

I find the first wear after a while always makes between my toes sore. Try using some vaseline to soften it a bit.

Yes it probably was a bit ambitious! Good to hear they might soften up a bit, I'll use some vaseline.
