What makes you feel like "a million bucks"?

Hi all,

I need of some self-love lately so I am looking for inspirations.

What beauty or fashion related thing makes you feel fantastic?

For me I'd say a new pair of high heels and a long, luxurious facial score pretty high up in my list! If only I could afford these two things on a daily basis Grin

Blow dried swishy hair and painted nails. Always makes me feel put together.

Beadieeye · 05/08/2017 15:54

Fresh red nails on hands and feet, using a decent conditioner on hair, spray tan even if I'm not showing my legs or arms off, wearing plenty of jewellery instead of having it sat in a drawer

burnishedsilver · 05/08/2017 16:23

Red lipstick.

bananafish81 · 05/08/2017 16:37

Gelish nails (I much prefer to Shellac) - I feel so groomed having beautifully polished nails that last 3 weeks without worrying about chipping

My beautiful All Saints Belvedere leather jacket.

Slick of Mac Ruby Woo lippy

Then a pair of Wayfarers

Feel like a BOSS

Lonelynessie · 05/08/2017 17:00

Freshly done at the salon nails, fresh haircut, wearing a nice necklace and earrings, new perfume, individual lashes and freshly tinted brows.

PNGirl · 05/08/2017 17:19

My AllSaints Bales leather jacket, a pair of black Docs, freshly painted nails and big curly hair that's had a good hair mask.

Onthemove2 · 05/08/2017 17:20

Strong perfume

MaQueen · 05/08/2017 18:30

A spritz of Angel

My Steve Madden, black cage heels. Sexiest shoes...ever.

A slick of 'Boy' by Chanel lipstick.

Freshly done gel nails in Paris Chic. Sophisticated...and then some.

My dark bronze, silk harem pants from All Saints...make me feel all sleek and chilled, and like I should be watching the sunset from a luxury yacht.

TeaAddict235 · 05/08/2017 19:10

Bright red matte red lipstick

& 1 -2 day styled hair big & voluptuous

Eyelash extensions are superb for opening up your eyes and giving you some oomph.

I also have Botox twice a year, it freshens me up and I look very well rested.

Annabelle4 · 05/08/2017 20:21

Blonde highlights with toffee low lights
Red lips and nails
Wearing black
Spray tan
Stillettos

It's extremely rare never that I would have all of the above at the same time though

IJustLostTheGame · 06/08/2017 09:57

Blow dried hair, posh smelling moisturiser and painted toe nails.
I could be wearing a beanie, a shapeless jumper and massive socks as well but I'll feel top banana inside.

Polkadot1974 · 06/08/2017 21:16

My nails being done. And nice perfume

Likeindie · 06/08/2017 23:51

Fake tan, liquid eyeliner, mascara and false nails!... oh yeah and a spritz of your fave perfume... and a nice watch.

oldlaundbooth · 07/08/2017 01:20

A full night's sleep.
A long shower, freshly washed and blow dried hair.
Immaculate makeup, but not really much of it at all.
Heels.
A colour that suits me.
Bit of perfume.

oldlaundbooth · 07/08/2017 01:21

A pencil skirt does make me feel particularly swish I have to say. Along with everything listed above.

LockedOutOfMN · 07/08/2017 12:38

A massage, blowdry (not done by me), self-pedicure, and new clothes. Prefer summer clothes to winter.

Iwanttobakethree · 07/08/2017 13:53

matte red lipstick, sunbed tan, nude nails, toffee "colour contoured" hair colour, little black dress, understated jewellery including my citrine 1950'S Cocktail ring ~(will out me) and lovely perfume. Heels or flats, I like both.

Queenofthedrivensnow · 07/08/2017 13:55

Loving the all saints love here I also have a calfskin biker from all saints that's very spesh.

If you can't afford salon nails learn to do it at home really well. Trim and file and run some oil in to cuticles before you push them back and trim. Use a diamond file on the top of the nail and buff them smooth before you polish. Sally Hansen acrylic base coat is really good and a top coat with glitter will help keep the polish on longer. My pedicures last 2 weeks I don't see how a salon can do it better than I can.

Meanwhile I love my babyliss curling wand I blow dry and straighten first so the curls are super smooth it's really easy since I watched a YouTube video of Lauren pope doing it.

Not strictly hair or make up and clothes but self investment is good. I have a beautiful catch kidston work bag and all my notebooks/pens and diary etc all match and have a theme plus a matching wallet. All the extra stuff like umbrella and laptop sleeve match too - a bit obsessional maybe but makes me feel v organised and stylish

MineKraftCheese · 07/08/2017 13:56

Fresh acrylic nails 💅
Eyebrows just done ✅
Hair actually styled 😁

Puffpaw · 07/08/2017 13:56

Lovely scent and a blow dry

NomDePlumeReloaded · 07/08/2017 13:57

sunbed tan

Shock

I didn't think anyone did that anymore

Gingernaut · 07/08/2017 13:59

My charity shop Banana Republic blue trench coat.

It's missing it's belt, but the cut and colour is so good, it looks 'classy' anyway.

Never mind the oddly small pockets which won't take my bus pass without losing it

Gingernaut · 07/08/2017 14:01

This one. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
