What would it be? Botox, laser hair removal, teeth whitening etc? What would really make you look and feel better and be good value for money?

I was just wondering this while at a clinic today after looking at the price of permanent hair removal for the bikini area and decided i'd rather get something you can see IYKWIM

Either laser hair removal or laser eye surgery. They are both on my lottery-win wish list

TerfwithaNerf · 20/07/2017 10:10

Tummy tuck with lipo.

Have a big bum and great boobs which I'm 100% happy with, just not the big belly that goes with them. When I've lost weight in the past and achieved a flatter stomach my boobs have all but disappeared in the process Sad.

Wish someone could invent a 100% accurate method of pinpointing where you want to lose the weight and where you don't!

TheHodgeoftheHedge · 20/07/2017 10:16

Laser hair removal.

Shaving my legs and wrestling my bikini line are shit I could do without ;)

Ironicuser123 · 20/07/2017 10:53

Yes! Laser eye surgery as well!

Veneers. I fucking despise my two front teeth.

CrystalMcPistol · 20/07/2017 11:04

The only thing I’d have done would be my teeth. They’re not too bad as it is but there are a few little gaps on my lower teeth that seem to be widening. I might look into it as there also sorts of pretty reasonably priced solutions for this, 6 Month Smiles etc.

DatsunCogs · 20/07/2017 11:36

I've had laser eye surgery and I am sooo pleased with it. Was uncomfortable for the first week but I've almost forgotten what it was like to wear glasses.

I would like bunion surgery - sort of cosmetic ( I have ugly feet) but kind of practical too...

Considering a fringe rather than forehead Botox!

Ironicuser123 · 20/07/2017 11:42

datsun how is your night vision? That's one of my biggest worries

This list is so interesting- such a variety of preferences. That's an interesting point about teeth treatments lasting longer as well

Teeth, definitely.

Or maybe laser treatment on a scar that i hate.

Or maybe laser eye surgery.

Tummy tuck might be good. And maybe a bit of lipo on my thighs. Boob reduction.

Actually, can someone just take me apart and start me again from scratch? I am usually happy with how I look, but I suppose now I'm thinking about it, there's a few things I'd do if I had the money. Probably not all of the above though.

DatsunCogs · 20/07/2017 11:50

My night vision is fine, surgeon said it's possible to experience a slight flare effect but mine is perfect, certainly I find it easier to see than wearing glasses at night. Took me about 20 years to get brave to do it though!

Gothbaby · 20/07/2017 11:52

Only the one?? probably my teeth... the whole of my mouth fixed. they are so fucked (i brush regular and what not but i had weak bones for a while and my teeth are just awful) give me that hollywood smile!! xxx

CoolCarrie · 20/07/2017 12:24

Teeth definitely! All out and implants in

Toomanyclothes2017 · 20/07/2017 13:24

I already treated myself to an expensive treatment: last year I spent several hundred pounds having numerous moles removed. They were dark brown and the ones that stick out and I hated them.

This year I wore a bikini without feeling self conscious and it was amazing. Worth every penny

QuimReaper · 20/07/2017 16:58

I'm interested to hear how many people would have their teeth removed rather than braces - are implants permanent and reliable? I hate the idea of veneers, having your own teeth filed down to stumps petrifies me!

EvelynWardrobe · 20/07/2017 17:03

Neck lift here. My face wrinkles are OK but my flabby crepey neck depresses me.

runningyogabooze · 20/07/2017 17:22

Laser hair removal and Botox. Botox is the cheaper of the two.

Liiinoo · 20/07/2017 17:34

I have had some of these. I LOVE my Botox to open up my droopy eyes and soften the crows feet but it doesn't last long so it is an ongoing expense. Teeth whitening gives longer lasting results.

I had eye surgery, not laser but permanent lens implants. That was incredible - I went from a prescription of -13 to perfect vision.

I paid a lot of money for ultherapy to tighten my neck and jawline but it made no discernible difference so am considering a thread lift.

BagelGoesWalking · 20/07/2017 19:10

Teeth whitening - I could afford it but I'm a bit scared as I've seen stories where it made people's teeth go ultra sensitive, which would drive me nuts.

Ironicuser123 · 20/07/2017 20:36

How often do you need to get Botox?

OP posts:
OCSockOrphanage · 20/07/2017 20:36

Boob reduction. I have hated people looking at them for almost 50 yrs. It would be instant intervention if anything happened to DH, who likes them.

justanotheryoungmother · 20/07/2017 20:44

Teeth whitening Blush

SingaSong12 · 20/07/2017 20:46

I've had chin laser hair removal and really happy with it it. It was slightly painful and tingled a bit but otherwise ok - problem is needing to be very careful about sun exposure. I might try the underarm, but bit of a wimp about pain.

64PooLane · 20/07/2017 20:49

Double chin magically zapped away

foxessocks · 20/07/2017 20:56

I'm getting my teeth done soon and that's definitely the most I've ever spent and probably will ever spend for something purely cosmetic. I'm having the six month smile braces (although realistically will take more like 9 months) , plain white braces so not too visible. I'm a bit scared about the person upthread who said some couldn't talk with their braces in! Shock I know that was the back of the teeth but still...am questioning my decision now!

36plusandtrying · 20/07/2017 22:47

Iron you need to get Botox (or similar) every 3/6 months as it gets absorbed into the body Shock
