Shampoo that really cleans

I've horrid frizzy hair (no curls but frizz) and not sure if that is relevant or not but every time I wash my hair it just doesn't feel clean. In this humid weather it then gets bigger and feels awful, not clean and smooth at all.

Is there a shampoo that will make my hair feel nice? Thanks!

I recently bought herbal essences. See pic, it's lush! Hair feels very clean.

I really like Aldi Kangaroo Paw shampoo and conditioner.

lorelairoryemily · 18/07/2017 22:51

Schwarzkopf bc deep cleansing expert. Best shampoo ever for that really clean feeling!

MakeLemonade · 18/07/2017 22:54

Paul Mitchell Shampoo 3 is a good clarifying shampoo.

WildIrishRose1 · 18/07/2017 22:58

Stargirl I'm using that arm and HATE it! Hair is greasy and sticky. I much preferred the Charles Worthington daily clean range.

FerretsAreFeminists · 18/07/2017 23:08

Lush's Big shampoo or the Herbal Essences honey shampoo.

Katiekatie37 · 18/07/2017 23:12

I like redken extreme , anything else I try works for a day or 2 then starts to feel built up !

SophieGiroux · 18/07/2017 23:17

Pantene clarifying shampoo. Excellent for that squeaky clean feeling and gets rid of any product build up.

Groupie123 · 18/07/2017 23:20

I'm the same. Try Tresemme's Keratin range (in the red bottles) - shampoo conditioner intensive conditioner and the 7 day treatment. My hair is still big but it's become as smooth as anything.

Ginfiend · 18/07/2017 23:20

Don't know about shampoo. But using Redken Friss Dismiss cream has changed my life.
It's like getting 'second day' hair on the first day. No frizz.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 18/07/2017 23:24

Frizz Dismiss is amazing. The spray is even better than the cream if you can imagine such a thing!

Bluesheep8 · 19/07/2017 11:16

I would recommend an aloe vera shampoo and conditioner from Forever Living (the aloe vera people) it's the aloe and jojoba one. I've used it for years now, not the cheapest but only a little needed, never builds up on hair and great for getting product out. Hairdresser commented on the condition of my hair so must be due to this

Bluesheep8 · 19/07/2017 11:17

Forgot to mention my ha it's frizz-less even in humidity with this

Bluesheep8 · 19/07/2017 11:18

Meant to read "hair is frizz-less" !!! Blooming phone

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 19/07/2017 11:19

Mine isn't curly, but I find that just occasionally using a different shampoo for a couple of washes can make it feel really clean. I suppose if it has different ingredients it washes any build up out?

I just tend to use baby shampoo though, plus any conditioner and it doesn't seem to build up.

987flowers · 19/07/2017 13:12

Thanks all. Been to the hairdressers this morning (got a cancellation) and she's taken a lot of weight out of it which I'm hoping will help with the 'bigness!!!'

Will look out for some recommendations when I shop- will definitely look out for the frizz dismiss, sounds great.

I've got some baby shampoo so will give that a go first.

I have a quick question about Frizz Dismiss; do you need to use another styling product with it or can it be used by itself?

And the spray is better than the cream? I would automatically have gone for the cream! Sorry, that was 2 questions.

987 I've been using Kerastase Divalent which is for hair with oily roots and frizzy ends. Roots feel clean but it doesn't do anything for the frizz!

KarlosKKrinkelbeim · 19/07/2017 22:14

I've started using Philip Kingsley elasticizer before shampooing. It's a pre wash treatment which really moisturises my coarse frizzy hair and makes it less bushy. I shampoo it out, don't bother with conditioner so hair feels v clean

BluebellGal · 19/07/2017 22:14

I like T gel

Veronicat · 19/07/2017 22:16

I love Gum shampoo and conditioner.
I use it every day. My hair has never been so shiny.

wobblywonderwoman · 19/07/2017 22:17

T gel for oily hair gives a deep clean
